## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.13.80, Build (208) — 2026-09-10

Verified odometer readings now attach to the trip you're actually on.

When you capture a verified odometer photo while a trip is still recording — engine running, before you shut off and walk away — the reading now pins to that active trip instead of the previous one. Before, if the trip was still saving when you scanned, the reading could land on the last trip and throw off its odometer and mileage.

Pinned to the active trip at the moment of capture.
That link is locked, so later automatic corrections can't move it back to an older trip.
No change to your mileage or tax numbers — this only fixes which trip a reading belongs to.

### 1.13.73, Build (201) — 2026-08-27

Improved stability and reduced load times. Less likely to bootloop. Webview has been stripped from iOS version greatly reducing startup time.

### 1.13.57 — 2026-07-21

• Smarter odometer accuracy: readings now auto-link to the correct trip
• More reliable trip start/stop and Bluetooth detection
• Fixed the monthly odometer check-in
• Stability and performance improvements

### 1.13.54 — 2026-07-15

Make Lifeline open automatically when you get in your car (iPhone)
Lifeline tracks trips most reliably when it's on screen as you start driving. Set up this one-time automation and your iPhone will open Lifeline by itself whenever it connects to your car's Bluetooth.

You'll need: your phone already paired to your car's Bluetooth (the name it shows when connected — e.g. "HandsFreeLink" in Hondas, "SYNC" in Fords, or your stereo's name).

Open the Shortcuts app (pre-installed on every iPhone — search "Shortcuts" if you don't see it).
Tap Automation at the bottom, then + (New Automation).
Scroll down and tap Bluetooth.
Tap Device and pick your car from the list, make sure Is Connected is checked, then tap Next.
Important: select Run Immediately (not "Run After Confirmation"), so it works without you touching the phone. Tap Next.
Choose the Open App action, tap the pale word App, and pick Lifeline.
Tap Done.
That's it — next time you start the car, Lifeline pops open on its own and trip tracking starts right away.

Recommended companion: repeat the same steps choosing Is Disconnected in step 4, so Lifeline also comes forward when you shut the car off — that's the moment it saves your trip and prompts your odometer photo.

### 1.13.34 — 2026-06-16

A trip auto-started when your car connects now survives the app reloading. Opening the app right after you get in no longer drops the trip or creates a duplicate—your drive tracks correctly from the start.
