I can't open the app sometimes and have to close it and open it up a few times. Happy bun = Happy mum! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Manage my subscription *2026-04-03, version 5.6* What is wrong with “manage my subscription “ page. I can’t see any of my subscription and only show a page of “Get the latest from Small Pet Select, straight to your inbox!” It’s so annoying!!!!! ### 1/5 — App review *2024-11-25, version 3.3* This app does not work well on an iPad. I find that the website is much easier to navigate. Every time I looked at a different screen, the app wanted me to sign in again. This didn’t make sense. I don’t think I will use the app again, just use the website. ### 1/5 — Discount code in app *2023-12-23, version 2.5* The code they advertise, “WELCOMEAPP” doesn’t work and this is my first time ever using the app. Thanks a lot SPS. ### 1/5 — App does not have good functionality *2023-02-28* My biggest problem with the app is that there is no “Order Now” option on auto ship orders like there is online. You can only skip or cancel. In addition, you can not edit or add payment methods on the app. In general, it is lacking a ton of basic functionality you would expect from an e commerce app. You are better off going on the desktop version if you want to order something. (Do not use any of their mobile web apps because those clearly were not tested for their usability and does not scale well, hiding main buttons and action items.) ### 2/5 — Can’t favorite items *2025-04-20* For some reason I cannot favorite items or even buy them from this app? Recently just got it so I could find more variety things for my rabbits, but I can’t even buy anything or favorite items that I want to get for them. Not sure if others are having this same issue. ### 2/5 — New SmallPetSelect App *2023-08-21* A bit tedious to use relative to other retail apps. I expected some additional setup/ configuration time, but same issues remain from old way of ordering via browser. Not readily apparent where to log in, then app retains order history but no easy means of reordering item purchased recently. Basically start from scratch each time I order, which takes a bit of searching every time. The policy of disallowing free shipping when cashing in loyalty points on an order is almost a non-starter for me. The high quality of the product is the only reason I keep coming back. There are much better apps and better customer experiences to be had out there. ### 3/5 — Enjoy the App, not the AI *2025-07-15* Im not sure if this is specifically an app issue, moreso the company of Small Pet Select. I have been satisfied w/ this company for a while, especially the automated text service that allows me to delay or cancel subscription orders before theyre processed. I have a subscription for 25 lbs of hay every other month. Recently they have changed this system to an AI, which had changed my monthly subscription order, and added more things that I have never purchased. I attempted to modify the order to remove it, and it sends me a link to modify my order, which shows only the original subscription of only hay. I am worried that it will continue to have errors like this and i will end up paying for things i didnt order. Please go back to the original automated text message system! ### 3/5 — Too pricey *2024-05-03, version 3* Good products but price is too high ### 3/5 — Missing Key Functions *2023-09-25* I love their products. Product is 5 STARS. Their app is not 5 stars. I downloaded the app to making making my subscription easier. Here is the issue: you can cancel or “skip” a subscription order. You cannot order an existing subscription sooner. However, I’m struggling to find where I can order an existing subscription sooner. I needed to replenish on the hay sooner but I was not able to bring in the date of the next scheduled delivery. Ultimately, I had to place a whole new order all together. I may even have to delete my auto-subscription and start a new one each time I need to bring the date in. Missing the option to order an existing subscription sooner is a key miss that they need to consider adding. If it had this feature, 5 stars. ### 3/5 — You Cannot Manage Auto Shipments *2023-02-06* I’m glad an app was created, and there’s now an incredible ease of use when I use the app to purchase items for my rabbits with Apple Pay. HOWEVER, there is no way to manage the auto shipment orders I have set up for hay.
