## What is Small Steps?

Your baby was this small once.

A print without ink, without a stamp pad, and without anyone scrubbing little feet afterwards. You hold the iPhone over the foot or hand, the scan itself takes a few seconds. About half a minute later the finished picture is in front of you.

SEVEN STYLES FROM ONE SCAN

Ink stamp warm, ink stamp black, watercolor, photo, line, constellation and 3D gold. Two styles of your choice you see beforehand for free, with your own print. The others are shown with a sample, and every style can be bought directly.

YOU DECIDE WHAT GOES ON THE PICTURE

Name, date of birth, weight and star sign go on the picture if you like. Below the print you can add the date, age and length. Or none of it, if you prefer the print on its own.

Foot or hand, left or right: you can scan both one after the other. The finished picture is mirrored compared to the photo, just like a real print on paper.

WHAT YOU GET

The file is yours: PNG and PDF at 2048 x 2048, ready to print and without a watermark. With several styles everything comes as a ZIP. Whether you print it, frame it or give it away is up to you.

FOR MORE THAN ONE CHILD

Siblings each get their own collection. Handy when you want to compare later how small the first child was.

WHAT IT COSTS

One style is €2.99, all seven €15.99. The store shows the price in your own currency. Take several at once and each one gets cheaper. You pay once. No subscription, no credits. Downloading the app and scanning is free.

ABOUT YOUR DATA

The scans are sent encrypted to our server in Europe, where an AI service draws the pictures from them. Nothing is sold or published. You delete a single print in the app, and your whole account with everything attached to it just the same.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.1 — 2026-10-15

New: give a print as a gift. Buy styles for new parents and send a personal card with your message, a QR code and a redeem code, as an image or as a PDF to print. While choosing, you see all seven styles as sample pictures, so you know exactly what you're giving. The parents redeem the code in the app and pick their styles themselves after scanning. Got a gift? You'll find “Redeem a gift” in Settings. Also new: five fonts for the caption on your print and on the gift card, your own line of text under the name, and a preview that shows you the caption before you buy.

### 1.3.4 — 2026-10-05

Purchases go through more reliably. If an earlier purchase got stuck, the app now sorts it out by itself. Signing in gives you clearer messages, for example when your password is too short or your email hasn't been confirmed yet. Plus smaller fixes.

### 1.3.3 — 2026-09-23

Even after your free scans are used up, you can now keep scanning and buy any style directly. Every scan is checked before a picture is made from it, and a scan that doesn't work out no longer costs you a free scan.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-09-22

Fixed: the app would not open on iOS 27. Plus updated technology under the hood for the new iPhone models.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-09-18

You can now buy while the preview is still being drawn. If a scan upload breaks off, simply start it again without losing a free scan. “Restore purchases” now reliably finds your pictures again, even after reinstalling. Fixed: once your free scans were used up, a print you had started no longer led to the purchase. The birthday picker is easy to read again, too.
