## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Stopped working?

*2020-06-28, version 4.1*

Was fine with previous version, new one doesn’t even get to the list of phonemes...

### 1/5 — Glitchy!!

*2019-12-23, version 3.4*

Everytime I click a sound, the app immediately crashes.. can't view any videos either. Please fix!

### 1/5 — Not working

*2019-07-31*

Videos aren’t working and it keeps shutting down. Such a shame it’s not working anymore because it was a great app.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2020-10-06, version 4.4*

The app works well but the videos for some of the sounds include a schwa sound after the phoneme. “Buh” for /b/ and “duh” for /d/ etc. I wish these had been produced without the schwa.

### 2/5 — Freeze

*2014-12-06, version 3.1*

This is a good app if it didn't freeze all the time ,very frustrating for stroke patients .
Please fix it .would rate it 5 star if working but only 2 now .

### 2/5 — Only works one time

*2014-07-27, version 3.1*

I have to keep resetting the videos to get the lip motion with the sounds. Otherwise, I get the sound with the lips frozen. We really need the video to work continuously!

### 2/5 — Stalling

*2014-03-07, version 3.1*

This app is wonderful.... If it would stop stopping!

### 2/5 — not as helpful as I've have liked

*2011-11-17, version 2.0*

takes too long to load for most of my clients. the videos are also too short - even just a brief bit of "nothing" intro and outro would give less "blink and you've missed it" feel.

### 2/5 — Not a fan...

*2010-10-01, version 0*

Good thing I only spent .99 cents. You would think for a Phoneme App they would atleast have the phoneme symbols. Instead they only use alphabet letters to make up the phonetic symbol and some don't even make sense. If your not interested in the fricatives or affricates you could buy this but I wouldn't recommend it.

### 3/5 — Glitchy

*2019-09-30, version 3.4*

App closes after each phoneme video. Otherwise love the program. Would like some CV, CVC, CVCV progression

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great

*2020-07-11, version 4.1*

Recent update fixed the glitches!

Lingraphica apps are great for patients with aphasia or a multitude of speech disorders. Their tech support is amazing. And if your patient has long standing communication issues, you should try a communication device. They will let you try them at no cost (unbelievable but true). I’ve had patient’s speech improve just by using the device but also it’s a great AAC device for adults.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2014-12-25, version 3.2*

I use this with my grandchild as does her speech therapist. It had an early bug but now works perfectly. Thank you

### 5/5 — Great with autistic children

*2013-01-18, version 2.0*

They may resist watching a real mouth pronounce sounds, but that will look at these on the iPad. I have had a lot of success using this app, and the one for words, numbers, colors (also Lingraphica).

### 5/5 — Fantastic just what I was looking for

*2012-03-22, version 2.0*

I was looking all over the Internet for pictures of the articulation of individual sounds and then I came across this. Absolutely perfect to help a lady with speech apraxia.

### 5/5 — Just great

*2012-02-11, version 2.0*

Simply does as described...provides accurate and effective models for isolated speech sounds. Nice focus on mouth-only helps avoid distractions and over exaggerations for our students/clients. Glad it isn't cluttered with intros/chatter. Great job!

### 4/5 — No frills

*2014-08-21, version 3.1*

Provides some helpful visual support for each sound.

### 4/5 — Pretty Good App

*2010-08-28, version 0*

All sounds are produced correctly except /r/ and /er/. The /r/ in this app is the same as /er/ which is wrong. They are two distinct sounds, especially in isolation.

### 3/5 — Please update

*2017-12-11, version 3.4*

Since Apple has updated the os, the app is super glitchy. Please make them compatible

### 3/5 — Does not open

*2013-09-13, version 3.0*

This looks like a great app...if only it worked! It will not open past the opening screen--20 minutes later and still just stuck like that, nothing to tap. I have deleted and re-installed 3 times. Hasn't been updated in 5 months so I am not feeling very confident.
