Everything set up ok and appears online. If they spent the same amount of time on their software and applications as they did on their design, this brand may be super successful. App keeps shutting down on setup, UFO camera doesn’t work on LTE with T-mobile, etc. Waste of money. Trash. All the customer service reps I’ve frustratedly dealt with in the past are no longer with the company and no emails have been returned. Done with this brand...move on to something else. Deberían de actualizarla para que sea compatible con la pantalla de mi iphone X ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY SMANOS HUB *2023-02-09, version 3.1.2* Issue 1: Our K2 Hub shows offline and cannot get back to work and there is no way to reset, hence our entire security system including Motion sensors, indoor and outdoor sirens, window/door detectors are going in the bin Issue 2: Smanos system doesn’t provide trouble shoot and solution. The company doesn’t provide technical support. We tried contacting them by their default email address in China, no response whatsoever Issue 3: Smanos states their devices can be connected up to 80m open air, ours cannot even connect within 80cm. Also there are many limitations such as signal cannot through timber floor, brick walls, even cannot pass through more than 2 layers of plasterboard stud walls! Issue 4: we have set up 5 motion detectors and never had them all connected online together! I dont want to reset to factory default since I dont have this issue previous version. So I cant check it online when i’m outside home , please fix it ASAP. In general app is responsive and easy mannered. ### 5/5 — Very encouraged and adding more *2018-05-23, version 2.5.9* I have been using the smanos Home app for about 8 months now and have found it to be quite reliable. What prompted me to write this review is the recent addition of IFTTT. Added the auto-disarm applet and it has now worked everyday, twice a day for a week now, well done. So far this has been an affordable alternative to my paid service and I don’t miss paying my old monthly fees. I would like to see additional abilities to monitor smoke and gas. Also looking forward to adding their video doorbell but need to add wiring since my home was set up with a custom doorbell wired into my phone system. I have one of the UFO cameras and so far satisfied with it. I would prefer an outdoor solution, but this is getting it done so far. ### 5/5 — Pratique *2018-04-08, version 2.5.5* Bonne appli plutôt intuitive et améliorée avec les mises à jour. ### 4/5 — Smanos K2 *2021-09-03, version 3.1.0* Good system overall however the literature is a bit light on regarding all the details. The screen shots too show what is most likely an earlier app version in the online manual. Mind you its enough to get you started but I’d personally would have liked to have seen more detail for the door/window switch. It was simple for a double door as it goes on like the pictures but not so for a typical door with jambs. I’ll be calling the service line regarding this aspect of the installation. I especially like the fine tuning and being able to arm and disarm the K2 with my phone. ### 4/5 — Nice app. Need update. *2019-01-04, version 2.7.7* I have the k1 system and ufo camera. The system works perfect. The only problem until now it is the cloud service for ufo camera . Didn’t work. When i try to start my free one year plan, the system gave me a remainder message with this: “FAILD :101117”, so the process can’t continue. Second, it will be a nice option when the k1 system armed, the ufo camera enable the motion sensor automatically, and motion sensor goes off when the system is disarmed. When i am home, i must disable the motion sensor, because the system can’t stop alert for Activity detected !!! When I left home i must remember every time to enable again the motion sensor because i need the ufo camera to be a part of all security system. ### 4/5 — Smanos *2018-11-17, version 2.7.0* Thanks For Your Good Products I have a suggestion and a critique of you: 1:Please add apple watch app too,it can be very helpful 2:your app works very fast most of the time but there is a point, when we change the settings in the accessories for example change the volume of the siren to high it will be automatically change to mute after when we come back in the app! it is very serious problem especially for a security system. Thanks for your reading and responsing. ### 4/5 — Smanos k1 *2018-03-30, version 2.5.5* Good working but sometimes don’t work please update. ### 3/5 — Pas mal sauf que.. *2019-07-31, version 2.8.5* Bonjour,l’alarme et l’application en soit sont bien,sauf que lorsque l’alarme s’enclenche,il faut relancer plusieurs fois l’application pour que celle ci veuille bien finir par s’ouvrir..impossible donc le cas echeant de prendre en flag si on passe les 2-3 premières minutes a essayer en vain de lancer l’application pour accéder aux caméras etc.. Et ce n’est pas un probleme de reseau car meme chez moi cela bug a ce niveau et j’ai 980Mbps.. Vraiment dommage..a corriger rapidement,en attendant tout juste 3 étoiles et encore car l’appli perd tout son sens de par ce bug/ralentissement..
