I've been waiting for someone to develop something like this for a while. It's great to see a new app that simplifies social media. The only app all my kids will be using for social media. Refreshing to see and simple to use. Love! ### 5/5 — Great app! *2026-10-22* This app is a much-needed change of pace from the doomscrolling that I find myself falling into with other social media apps. I love the privacy, I feel like I'm able to post whatever I want without judgement because only my friends can see my posts and not 500 acquaintances. I can even create private folders to narrow down the audience even more. I also love the fact that there are no ads! ### 5/5 — Simplicity for the win *2026-10-22* Love that this app isn't collecting any data or pushing ads everywhere. I was so anxious to post my son on other platforms but feel secure using this one because of the private folder feature and zero ai integration. ### 5/5 — Social Media as it SHOULD be! *2026-10-22* I love everything about this app! It truly does harness the golden age of social media from many years ago. It’s simple and straightforward! Just share photos, stories, life updates and more with all of your closest friends and family! It’s truly a new level of privacy; you don’t have to worry about your life leaking into the mainstream! No longer are you doom scrolling through algorithm-generated content designed to keep you stuck in an endless swipe. You can pop in, check out what’s new with your friends, and get back to making your own Smapp-worthy memories! It truly speaks volumes about the excitement I get at a Smapp notification versus any other app! Give it a download and try it out! ## Frequently asked questions about Smapp ### What is Smapp?
