Called Samsung a few times but did not get any support. I stupidly reinstalled it which never fixed the app crash away from home and now I can’t add the aircon back in-home either. As soon as I power on the unit to ‘authenticate’ I immediately get a ‘network connection is poor’ error. I now can’t control my aircon at all and with Samsung showing absolutely no care or concern it will be doomed. Occasionally it works as expected, but currently it just crashes when I attempt to login (iPhone 12 iOS 15.1.1). I have just noticed that it won’t find my unit when in-home, when I try out of home, it tries to login then crashes. My ‘smart’ aircon is now dumb. Rather than waiting for this app to be fixed at some stage in the distant future, I have resorted to investing on Sensibo Sky controllers. The app won’t let me register any of my units. The Samsung SmartThings has no support for the model and there is no way to use the smart wifi enabled unit. It’s just dumb wall mounted unit. ### 1/5 — Requires frequent rebooting *2021-01-02* Loses all the airconditioners on the network, forcing a reboot of my phone, which then magically finds them. (As in, they are still on the network, but something in the app fails to connect to them). Thanks ### 1/5 — App is temperamental *2019-03-02* Since upgrading to iPhone Xs, I often find that the app cannot locate any A/C’s and despite refreshing the page, I have to resort to turning the phone off and on, and reopen the app before it will find the A/C’s. It never happened with previous models of iPhone, I can only think it’s a software issue, it is annoying and putting me off recommending Samsung A/C’s to anyone else. I managed to reconfigure everything and get in house working - out would never work. Called up Samsung support troubleshooting they sent off the request to level 2 support. Today I tried it and it managed to work! If you have troubles log a call it’s annoying but you might get this sorted. I do wish they’d stop the captcha so so annoying I hate it. ### 5/5 — Easy enough to setup *2016-12-21* Read a lot of reviews about how it doesn't work. This version lets me log in out of home and at home with Wi-Fi. Great for checking the kids rooms at night and adjusting without getting out of bed. The power usage reading is also interesting to look at.
