No HELP button. Nothing. ### 1/5 — Cannot choose library to print to *2023-01-05* I live 2 blocks from the main library, and it just started using this app in 2023. I've never had a problem printing to them from home or in the library before, and I don't print enough to own a printer without the ink drying out. I uploaded my document like normal, then it asked me to select a library to print to. There's no list, just a map. The main library isn't on the map. I download the app. It's there, I can't select it. I go back to safari, I can now see the library, and I still can't select it. The video in the app shows me how to add this, which doesn't work, as a printer. It then went black and turned off my screen instead of minimizing, so that was a nice touch. Hopefully I'll be able to print in the library itself, because I really need the documents and kinkos is in the opposite direction. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2022-05-18* I’m at the library and downloaded the app put in my pin number which has been verified for many years and the app says it doesn’t work and they don’t know what the problem is Difficulty getting help with this app ### 1/5 — Not good *2021-09-23* Needed to print important documents. I even called the library and they said my account and PIN are working. This app is bad. Something needs to be done. I tried my account on my home computer and no problems logging in. Fix the app please ## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Update please :) *2019-02-02* It took a while to get it to work but honestly works the way it’s intended their instructional video worked well also. I believe the app should have a sign up option though since even if you have a library card you still need to create an account to use there app or website. Hopefully the developers or creators see this and fix that issue. Best of luck. ### 5/5 — Great App *2014-07-12, version 1.0.0* It makes printing from web so easy. With Smart Alec I don't need to always bring a flash driver. Highly recommended! ### 2/5 — Cannot Find Library *2025-03-09, version 3.0.6* All the libraries in my county use Smart Alec, however none of them are accessible through the app. I allowed the app to search my location (I’m two miles from the library) and even directly typed in the zip code and it still only gave me a single option of “Anytown Public Library” in a remote city over an hour away. I’m not sure why the developers even bothered making the app but perhaps it’s more functional in other states. ### 2/5 — Inconsistent at best *2017-04-18, version 1.0.1* I wish this app worked reliably but it does not.
