Warum kann man bei der Frequenzwahl nur manuell die Frequenzen einstellen. Man kann nicht die im Empfänger voreingestellten Channels auswählen. Diese sind schlicht nicht verfügbar.
Schön wäre auch eine Anzeige der Empfangsstärke und des Audio-Pegels.
Sonst soweit OK.

The original app was super simple this version require one extra step in selecting your region but other than that still works great. I wish Sennheiser would update once more for the EW-DX.

It’s a bit clunky. No way to rearrange devices in app without “forgetting” and re-pairing. Not a HUGE deal until the app locked out #2 in a 12 mic system.
Setup is a more time consuming process than indicated and FW updates take forever (have to update one at a time).
Good idea but overall a FAIL in execution.

Hallo, 

Seit dem letzten Update funktioniert nun das Updaten meines Taschensenders. Sehr schön ! 

Leider funktioniert das Umbenennen meines Systems noch immer nicht. Ich kann zwar Umbenenne anwählen, allerdings verändert sich dann nichts wenn ich Eingaben tätige. Lediglich die Farbe kann ich ändern.

Hallo zusammen, ich finde diese App im Grunde gut gemacht. Alles schön übersichtlich und gut einzurichten. Dennoch sind mir zwei Sachen aufgefallen. 1: Ab und zu hängt sich die App auf und man kann nur durch einen Neustart dies beheben ( aktuell über Iphone XS ) 2: Bei der Benennung der Funkstrecke zb mit eigenem Namen sind nur 6 Zeichen möglich. Ist etwas schade. Gibt es da eine andere Möglichkeit ? Danke euch :)

Unable to update the firmware for the ewd dx to be able to use with the smart assist app. Even plugged into the router it says can’t find device. 

A great product and can’t even use the features that are it’s selling points.

Wir haben etwas betagtere iPad im Einsatz, die nur bis iPad OS 12 Updates bekommen haben. In der App-Beschreibung heißt es zwar, Version 11 sei Minimum, aber das scheint nicht mehr zu stimmen. Die App geht für den Bruchteil einer Sekunde auf und schiesst sich dann gleich ab. Sehr schade.

My receivers say I need to update the firmware and I follow the instructions but it just hangs. 
The devices work ok, but they require constant deleting and repairing to make them work. I have to use the button on the physical units to change settings.

Our church upgraded some of our mics to the new Sennheiser mics that use this app for setup and operation. All worked well with the church’s iPad until the app was updated and will no longer work on our iPad with iOS 12.5. Now when we start the app it tries to open and shuts down. We have updated this older iPad to the latest iOS it will support, and have deleted the Sennheiser app, restarted the iPad and re-installed the app. Nothing we do will allow the app to work on this iPad. 

We do understand that this iPad is a couple years old. Being a church it is not feasible to be able to update all technology when what we have still works. Would it be possible to make an older version of the app available, or make the app backwards compatible?

A few months back the app was near perfect. But after the new updates the overall look has been changed and the app is glitchy at times. Also the app doesn’t work with the new EWDX series. Very disappointed. Hopefully sennheiser will make the proper changes soon.

This app wasn’t working at all. But I deleted the app for my iPhone and reinstalled it and then it worked perfectly. EW-D

Hallo!
Auspacken, mit App verbinden, alles einbinden etc. soweit perfekt. 
Nun trat aber folgendes Problem auf, nach mehreren Stunden Probenarbeit tauschte ich vorausschauend für die eigentliche Veranstaltung die mitgelieferten Batterien gegen handelsübliche, leider ist nun die Batteriekapazität nicht mehr verfügbar. 
Liegt es an der App, oder wo müsste ich eingreifen?

It works. The Sennheiser EW-D is light years ahead of the g1-g4. With this app you can sync via Bluetooth, autoscan, adjust gain, plus some other settings. Plus the other benefits of digital.

The Cons: app GUI needs a little fixing. But it works. So,I care less of design, I care that it functions.

Na, geht doch. 
auch wenn es noch paar Hürden gibt um die DX im WSM zu sehen. 
Update über ipad, hier aber kabelgebunden via Adapter, danach im WSM nur mit einem Router und alles ohne DHCP. Dann klappts auch mit Windows ;-)

Die App tut alles was sie soll und ist auch sehr übersichtlich aufgebaut. Die wichtigsten Funktionen sind schnell erreichbar. Auch die Integration der Bedienungsanleitungen ist klasse. Was mir noch fehlt ist z.B. das Anzeigen aller als frei gescannten Frequenzen/Channels oder dass man beim scannen einen Bereich vorgeben kann. Damit könnte man in größeren Setups die Bereiche für verschiedene System ein wenig steuern. Update Mai 2020: Ihr habt meinen Wunsch mit dem aktuellen Update erfüllt bzw. übertroffen. Ihr seid die Besten 👍👍👍 Noch eine Anregung: ist es möglich die App auch für M1 Macs freizuschalten? Dann hätte man bei einem Job alle wichtigen Apps auf einem Gerät.

Nach einigen sich wiederholenden Veranstaltungen mit jeweils unterschiedlichen Setups (mal Musical, mal Band etc) vermisse ich eine Save/Recall Funktion mit der man eine komplettes Setup von allen Strecken mit Namen, Gain und Mute Einstellungen speichern und wieder aufrufen kann. Somit könnte man noch schneller z.B. bei Verschiedenen Bands alles voreingestellt haben.

Wer EW-D Geräte besitzt, sollte diese App von Anfang an nutzen.
Gerät auspacken, App verbinden und dann Gerät konfigurieren, keine 5 Minuten ohne irgendein wälzen von Anleitungen.
Das nenne ich mal gelungen, einfach und Kundenfreundlich. 
Danke für diese super App, nicht nur 5 ⭐️ sondern auch 5 Daumen hoch 👍

Vielleicht ist es ja mal noch möglich, bei deaktivierten Muting Schalter den Sender mit der App zu muten.
Ansonsten top App.
