Why not keep the current app functional until the new app is ready to be released? ### 1/5 — OVERPRICED!!!! *2021-02-27, version 2.1.40* My baby monitor says base station updating.....has said this for a week now. Gives false readings on the breathing at times (this is why we bought the camera and the fact that it doesn’t work properly is a huge no no IMO). Picture quality is wonderful, but when you can’t even login or the picture takes forever to load until you give up, it’s very frustrating. This app needs a serious overhaul on the backend. Interface is good, but the end to end user experience is poor. How can anyone sleep at night if the equipment they purchased to monitor their children while sleeping are impossible to depend upon? Ridiculous and pathetic. Save your money. It lets me know my daughters breathing rate and if updates me when she moves. She loves sleeping on her stomach and I was so nervous about it. I tried to give it a chance but it’s just not working out. The app reads wrong bpms constantly. It will show xx bpm and when I count manually it’s double that. The alerts go off constantly, several times a night and it’s never anything, she’s breathing fine, so now I just don’t trust the alerts which defeats the whole purpose. The sound cuts out constantly. The picture freezes and says ‘connecting’ and ‘disconnecting, CONSTANTLY. The camera was way too expensive for it to be this bad. The founder even sent out a few emails saying they were making all these great updates. They literally did nothing to fix the app. Not sure what all the hype was even about. It’s the same. Still bad. The only reason I bought this was because Cocoon Cam unfortunately went under and that camera was worlds better. ### 2/5 — Not worth it *2020-08-12, version 2.1.13* I love the camera quality and how you can adjust as needed through your app, don’t get me wrong. But my camera constantly freezes and disconnects. I have to close the app, re open- sometimes more than once or twice to get it going again. I just don’t understand how I am going to get a night worry free sleep once I put the baby into his own room and crib. I honestly might end up purchasing a second monitor from somewhere else just in case this one decides to not work like it usually does every night. My favorite feature is the “demo mode” which shows you what the app actually does and allows you to experiment with it before buying the camera. There are some older reviews talking about how this app isn’t any good. It looks like they have corrected those issues now.
