## What is Smart Dashcam Pro?

Tired of all the "dashcam" apps on the market that just fill up space on your phone? Introducing Smart Dashcam Pro. The only practical app that lets you use your old phone as a dashcam. 

Smart Dashcam Pro uses the motion sensors on your device and is constantly monitoring for any sudden movement. When triggered, it records the critical seconds BEFORE and AFTER the event. For eg, if you are recording 10 second clips, it will attempt to record video from 5 seconds before to 5 seconds after the event. You will be able to capture a lot of context even with short clips when it is centered around the event you want to capture. 

See something interesting you want to capture? Just tap the screen to force a manual capture.

You can also easily view and share these clips with your friends or on social media from right within the app! The short clips are ideal for sharing on social media. No more video editing to cut out a small clip you are interested in from hours of dashcam footage.

Want to capture longer videos? You can record video clips upto 60 seconds. Clips larger than 10 seconds will require you to enable buffer compression and may impact app performance on older devices. Take a look at the help section in the app to tailor the settings to your phone's capabilities.

The App also supports an in-app purchase allowing you to purchase an auto-renewable Smart Dashcam Pro monthly subscription for $0.99 per month. The payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription removes ads and allows offline access to the App's functionality. This subscription, once purchased, will auto-renew automatically every month unless you disable it in your settings at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and auto-renewal can be turned off after purchase by going to your Account Settings. *2019-04-11, version 1.0*

Keeps telling me I’m having network issues even though I have good signal. Tells me if I subscribe that issue will go away. I subscribed, and the issue did not go away. Now I can’t unsubscribe. It tells me to go to acct settings. But there is no acct settings under the menu bar. I think I’ve been ripped off.

**Developer response:** Hello,
The free version of the App is Ad supported and requires a network connection to display ads. Once you subscribe, it will not show any ads and will work offline. However, if you did not have network access at the time, your subscription request would not have gone through. 

You can verify your list of active subscriptions by clicking on "iTunes & App Store"  on the "Settings" App on your phone. If a subscription to Smart Dashcam Pro is not listed there, you do not have an active subscription. If you wish to cancel your subscription, you can also do so here. If it shows an active subscription to the app but the Smart Dashcam Pro app is still trying to load ads, you can restore your offline access by clicking on "Restore my Purchases" within the Smart Dashcam Pro App.

We understand that you are frustrated that you do not have the option to manage your subscription within the Smart Dashcam Pro app. However this is how Apple handles subscriptions.
