My parents bought this for my boys and were so excited to use it only to find out that the app doesn’t work fully. The space/constellations won’t scan at all and only a handful of animals can be found and not all the time. My kids are gutted and I’m very disappointed! ### 1/5 — Horrible *2019-07-22, version 3.2.7* Quite simply one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Unintuitive, barely AR, have to hold at a perfect angle and still for it to work. Within the app things are not labelled, continuously freezes and the needs restarts not to mention vast areas of earth seem unimportant. It’s meant for 4+ but at 35 I’m having trouble using it. It simply doesn’t scan. I got a couple of results within many tries, but it is inconsistent. Too frustrating for me, let alone a child. It keeps telling me I need to register first, although I have already done this twice. Sounds like others are having the same issue. I have contacted the company and no response. But once it does it is good. However I cannot get either the solar system or the earth AR apps to work and just keep getting the “scan globe” box and nothing else. This is very disappointing and hope it will be fixed. ### 2/5 — Ignore the QR code on the globe *2018-10-03* Had to put this review to warn other people. There is a QR code on the globe. No idea what it’s for but I spent a good 15mins trying to scan it, thinking it launched the VR. It doesn’t . Directly scan the globe. Didn’t work on my i phone, wouldn’t pick anything up . Worked on the iPad. Not what I was expecting, though you’d scan countries and get specific info but it seems to bring up the same stuff wherever you scan . I had most luck scanning Northern Europe and China in order to get it to work.
