### 2/5 — Unreliable temperature control

*2026-08-27, version 1.2.7*

We have our thermostat set to cool at 70 degrees. We have repeatedly come home and the thermostat says 76-78 but will cool to the desired temp in 2 hours. After 2 hours the temperature has not changed.

### 4/5 — Might actually be the worst app aot

*2026-08-20, version 1.2.7*

Welcome to 2026 in a society where ai drinks more water than us and I have to pay to change the temp on my ac from my phone . This app also looks like they paid a high school class taking python for the first time to code it or just straight up told Gemini to get it over with. I don’t know what worst the fact that there’s 6 different apps for a thermostat or that only the unbranded knock off one worked

### 1/5 — Disappointed.

*2026-08-16, version 1.2.7*

No written instructions. Does not pair with me phone or network. Bolts don’t fit right. No instructions on how to set up a manual passcode I’m disgusted. I spent $400 for this? In addition I can’t sign in or change my passcode. No verification code arrived despite trying several times. This whole thing is a crock

### 1/5 — Not a free app

*2026-08-16, version 1.2.7*

You can’t even connect a device without paying, just get another brand. Not worth it

### 1/5 — Pay for what!

*2026-08-16, version 1.2.7*

It's very stupid that i cant do anything unless if i pay, i understand you guys want to make money but come on! Be logical about it

### 1/5 — App is a pain to use

*2026-08-14, version 1.2.7*

Virtually no support. Hard to figure out how to add a user without having to pay additional fee.

### 1/5 — Fake app

*2026-08-09, version 1.2.6*

Fakw app, using apps to rank #1, then asking customers to pay in app, the manufacturers have official apps which are free, this one doesnt even work.

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2026-08-08, version 1.2.6*

Says it’s ready to pair and asks you to pair but it has not actually found the device. Now it won’t pair with the device even though it’s Honeywell which is supposed to be compatible. It’s like all these apps now - all they want is a subscription so they have a regular stream of revenue - but the apps themselves are a waste of time and money

### 1/5 — Did not pair

*2026-08-05, version 1.2.6*

I didn’t accept my device and it still charged me $60 dollars a year

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-08-04, version 1.2.6*

Useless

### 1/5 — Service fee?!!

*2026-08-04, version 1.2.6*

Nice fan but added service fee to use it. This is a 180 degree with satisfaction! Is it not enough to buy the fan? ☹️☹️
I just want Bluetooth remote for the fan no charge. Most products do that.

### 1/5 — Fake

*2026-08-01, version 1.2.6*

Pretends that you have devices follow the network and forces you to buy the membership

### 1/5 — No good

*2026-07-31, version 1.2.6*

This app will not work with my Honeywell thermostat.

### 2/5 — Cancel

*2026-07-29, version 1.2.6*

I signed up for the service thinking I needed it for my Thermostat but I did not. I just subscribed today and immediately canceled it 20 minutes later. Can I get a refund? I also agree that you should have a trial so things like this do not happen.

### 1/5 — What is happening

*2026-07-27, version 1.2.6*

Just want to use my cooler and things impossible to use with out app

### 1/5 — Sucks

*2026-07-24, version 1.2.6*

Requires a subscription that is way overpriced

### 1/5 — What are you smoking?

*2026-07-24, version 1.2.5*

You must be high on your own supply if you think most consumers would pay for this exorbitant subscription! No way.

### 1/5 — Adding thermostat

*2026-07-22, version 1.2.5*

Yes it will not addd the device and in pairing mode. Frustrated and now have subscription I cannot use. Would like a refund

### 1/5 — 6.99 per week?!?

*2026-07-22, version 1.2.5*

$6.99 per week is a ridiculous price for an app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Free to download, but to use it you have to pay

*2026-09-01, version 1.2.7*

Free to download, but to use it you have to pay

### 1/5 — Horrible App!

*2026-08-31, version 1.2.7*

The app for the Winix HEPA filter is the worst I have ever encountered! Essentially impossible to use the limited version unless you want to pay an exorbitant amount of money!

### 1/5 — Decline payment

*2026-08-30, version 1.2.7*

I payed for subscription for 1 year for my vacuum robot, however for it I cannot use this app, we have another one. I asked a refund through the Apple, and I was declined. I do not need this subscription at all. It will be good if you help me to do refund. Thanks.

The email you gave for refund- doesn’t exist. Please double check the email.

PS updates.
I wrote in correct mail, without “g” few days ago, and nobody answer about refund.
What is the next step?

### 1/5 — Pay!?!

*2026-08-28, version 1.2.7*

Paying for an app to control my ac which i bought is a hard no for me! I would not have bought this air conditioner if you had told me before that I would have to pay for the app to control the smart options.

### 1/5 — Total scam

*2026-08-27, version 1.2.7*

After spending $500.00 USD on an air conditioner now Media wants $7 a week to be able to control it when it clearly states it’s Apple ready and compatible. No thank you.

### 1/5 — $

*2026-08-25, version 1.2.7*

It’s hard to believe that the cost of this app is so high. To make it worse, you have to pay to determine if it will control your device.

### 1/5 — Very Disappointed and Misleading

*2026-08-23, version 1.2.7*

⭐ 1 Star – Very Disappointing and Misleading

I downloaded the Smart Life Thermostat app because it was advertised as being compatible with Honeywell thermostats. Unfortunately, it did not work with my Honeywell thermostat at all.

What was even more frustrating was being charged $65.45 before I was able to determine whether the app was compatible with my thermostat. I also tried selecting the “Continue limited version” option, but I was unable to proceed and use the app without the paid subscription.

An app should allow customers to verify that their thermostat is compatible and that the basic functions actually work before charging $65.45. I was left with a charge for an app I could not use.

I would not recommend this app based on my experience. I am requesting a full refund of the $65.45 charge.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2026-08-23, version 1.2.7*

This app has a name very similar to others. I just wasted $7 buying a weekly subscription before I realized it was not the correct app. It seems suspicious that the apps have the same name but different icons. I do not know who would waste $7/week on this thing but it is not useful. It does not connect to my devices, I would like a refund and request that the company delete my information.

### 1/5 — Requires a subscription

*2026-08-18, version 1.2.7*

This device is a scam. I purchased it, not knowing it needed a subscription. Nothing in the description indicated that a subscription was necessary. sending it back!

### 1/5 — Paid App!

*2026-08-17, version 1.2.7*

So buying the product isn’t enough!? I must say I’m shocked we are required to pay monthly fee when we’ve already bought the product. My other appliances come with an application to monitor the product we’ve already spent hundreds to thousands on. Is that not enough?! I’m so confused.. seems greedy.
