It doesn’t work unless you allow pop-ups overall, or for each website that uses sm*rt id, which either exposes your phone to unwanted popups; or creates huge inconvenience for every website I need to use smart id in. And I’ve had to dig into this to find a solution, otherwise it doesn’t work by default if your popups are blocked (like every sane human being would do), and there is no mentioning of this anywhere so nobody would know. I have been left without the service in critical situations before I had to discover that! A note to the product manager; sometimes don’t fix it if it’s not broken! Administration managers draft inflexible rules demanding that clients travel great distances to attend appointments at a central office to present original copies of documents… which are simply scanned or photocopied by a minion on the lowest pay grade. Alternatively departments deny face to face interviews even email insisting that irreplaceable documents are sent by snail mail. I now live in Estonia I can log in easily using my Smart ID, then all is open: banking, health and medical appointments, education, government departments, driving licenses and vehicle registration, I can attend to almost everything securely and immediately without expense or trouble. ### 5/5 — MerkaQ *2026-07-18, version 33.0.539* Such a great tool to access all my overseas accounts etc. Can’t imagine working without now.
