The light remains bright white as long as the app isn’t working properly. I am connected through Bluetooth but my app says I’m not. It’s leaves me stuck with a bright white light unable to turn it off or change it if I want to leave the fan on. It makes it impossible to quickly to turn off a light (and keep fan on) while getting my son ready for bed. Such a nuisance!!! I’ve been stuck with this bright white light for weeks. The app has been pretty useless because of this. So this is how you connect the Bluetooth . 1. Connect your phone to Bluetooth and click on BSOO3B and there’s another similar name as this one click to connect on both Bluetooth names. 2. Open this app and go to the bottom of the app. Click on the Bluetooth icon all the way to the right . You’ll see a search icon click on it. Then it’ll find the Bluetooth connection then connect. 3. I recently got the light and I have figured out that you can’t play the music in the app but if your music can be heard outside the app, like Apple Music, you can play music. It’s kinda like a speaker, not a radio. For light problems, try the second switch on the app to have RGB lighting, but for yellow and white lighting, use the first switch. It took about 8 minutes to get both Bluetooth IDs to pop up. Be patient. It helps to turn off/on the remote to connect. Got the music to play, light color selected, set the timer. The app does need to be in range of the light to set up. Overall very pleased. TY to the Devs for updating the app in the last 4 weeks.
