It does not ask me to login every time I open the app. The fan functions work just fine. The lights work even better. You can deem the light change the intensity of the light turn on and off set a timer everything works just as it supposed to. It took me a minute to get the app synced with my iPhone, but that was user error. “Power off and on” means flip the a tu light switch, duh, lol. I’ve been using both the remote and the app and haven’t had a single issue. I love the timer function, I set the scene to “night light” and set the timer for 1-2 minutes. And by the time I’m cozy in bed it shuts the light off for me! There are some things I would love to add. I would like to have a widget or something. A little bit upsetting when you just want to control it quickly. It would be great if they link this with Alexa and google in the future. I can get in the app and turn on/off my light but when I try to go into my rooms icon all it says is “download failed”. It’s never showed that before. The variability of the light cool to warm and bright to dim is so smooth and allows for the right mood. The fan is pretty quiet, even on full power. I had a traditional big fan and it made the room look small- it looks so much bigger now. AND I bought a second one. That said, the app doesn’t work. Neither fan will pair. It’s not a big deal TO ME. The remote works just as well. It would be a nice bonus if the app did work. So 3 stars til it works.
