### 2/5 — Glitchy

*2026-08-14, version 1.4.008*

Took a long while to setup. Not long after it stopped working so I had to wipe it and start again. Very poor SW from such a reputable company. Disappointed as we paid extra for the wifi-enabled model.

### 2/5 — Embarrassing app

*2026-07-22, version 1.4.008*

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has an annual revenue of around £28 billion and this app is the best they can do in 2026. That’s embarrassing. An AI could vibe code something better on a free tier than this global company can produce. App needs to be replaced and completely overhauled. Improved user experience, remove the lag/delay, modern aesthetics and smoother controls. This.. this is not difficult. Indie developers do it in their spare time. Japanese company too, where’s the pride?

### 2/5 — Not great but has some useful features

*2026-07-12, version 1.4.008*

UI isn’t great, also some errors or not very logical layouts and wording. Somewhat fiddle to get the wifi connected. Manual is worth reading. Strange that the app lets you set heating temperatures between 0 and 15 using two specific modes, pity that wasn’t available on the remote control.

### 1/5 — Unable to link Alexa skill

*2026-07-08, version 1.4.008*

Thought it would be great to control my until via Alexa based on indoor temperature but every attempt to enable the Alexa skill fails. Tried via browsers, the app, changed credentials but simply errors with invalid email/pwd.

### 1/5 — Awful app

*2026-06-28, version 1.4.007*

Installation and setup is confusing. Long loading spinner shows whenever I access the app. Keep getting server errors. Silly modal dialog shows whenever I change a setting for an A/C unit. Feels like an early beta of the software that has been released. No support contact visible. Needs to be fixed.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-06-25, version 1.4.007*

This app is dreadful and ruins the whole experience of my Mitsubishi heavy industries aircon. I’ve had to resort to controlling with home assistant. The app frequently won’t connect and times out. On top of this basic functionality not working it just looks dated.

### 1/5 — Temperature overreads & app lag

*2026-06-16, version 1.4.007*

A truly dreadful app with an almost constant spinning wheel whenever a selection is made. It is beyond frustrating to use and it takes an absolute age. On top of that the temperatures overhead and are inaccurate. Absolutely terrible - buy a Daiken system instead.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2026-06-07, version 1.4.007*

Literally so horrible, its 2026 how is there app so bad

### 1/5 — Slow via wifi fast via 5g

*2026-05-29, version 1.4.007*

It takes 12 seconds to log in via WiFi with 1gigabit connection and 2 seconds with slow 5g. You guys need to hire a programmer, the app can’t be made with 11 year old nephew

### 3/5 — Awful

*2026-05-13, version 1.4.006*

It looks bad, it is clunky to setup and barely in English. It’s slow, but it works… just, usually…

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2026-04-27, version 1.4.006*

Confused, slothful and impenetrable. Deserves a proper overhaul with input from an experienced UI designer.

Upside - It does work and with lots of help from my AI assistant, and a forest of screenshots, I was eventually able to do everything I wanted.

Separately: My air conditioner is less than a year old and it’s already rusting so zero thought given to longevity and the environment; ie: outside.

### 2/5 — Die App funktioniert, ABER……

*2026-04-24*

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-04-22, version 1.4.005*

This is one of the worst smart home apps in existence, user functionality is terrible and Thats only if you can get the air conditioner to connect.
For a company like Mitsubishi i would have thought they could come up with something much better than this. I install lots of smart home devices and there is products that cost $20 that far our perform this pathetic excuse of an app, how this passed the tests to be released is beyond me! Time for a complete overhaul would never recommend these products to any client!

### 1/5 — Poor user experience

*2026-04-20, version 1.4.005*

Old, clunky, laggy, breaks regularly. Horrible interface. The opposite to good software from Apple and Google.

### 1/5 — Hot garbage

*2026-03-24, version 1.4.005*

Worst iOS app I’ve used in over 10 years. A nightmare to get AC connected. Super buggy. Super unreliable. Poorly designed. No iPad version. 0/5.

### 1/5 — useless app

*2026-03-01, version 1.4.005*

the app is slow and constant errors occur. You can not connect it to google home as it comes up as an error when you try. (i have done house trouble shooting) Therefore one of the reason I wanted this modal is to be able to turn it on before i get home to cool the house down, this cannot be achieved. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

### 1/5 — An awful app

*2026-02-28, version 1.4.005*

It’s slow, the app interface design is totally unintuitive and it basically needs binning and starting again. The indoor temperature is totally wrong, usually by at least 5-10 degrees.

### 3/5 — Mitsubishi Heavy mit zwei Innengeräten

*2026-02-23*

### 1/5 — Rubbish app

*2026-02-20, version 1.4.004*

This is rubbish app. Unable to load on latest iPhone. Not able to add units with wifi capabilities. You can say false advertisement. Spending so many money on making hardware wifi capable, app is failing the whole idea of wifi capabilities. Company is dumb in making this app and failing whole idea of smart system. What world are they living!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Very slow and often unresponsive

*2026-08-22, version 1.4.008*

For a while the app worked ok, was a bit slow but recently it has started to get worse. Often when loading the app none it will not load the status of any of the units nor can you control the aircon from the app, several times reloading doesn’t help and it sometimes takes about 15 to 20 minutes to even send a control to one of the units after which the app will be stuck on waiting for a status update from the unit. Major improvements are needed in the performance of the app or server side at Mitsubishi or both.

### 1/5 — Dreadful

*2026-08-20, version 1.4.008*

The clunkiest app in the world… please update

### 1/5 — Worst app on app store

*2026-08-17, version 1.4.008*

How can such an app be released? Please develop a proper one and learn from Daikin we-paid extra for this bs.

### 1/5 — Very poor app

*2026-08-09, version 1.4.008*

When it works it is very slow and communicating with units, most of the time you just get the spinning wheel and nothing else. For a large company the reliability of this app is very poor and not fit for purpose. If you are looking to control your units with an app, I would recommend you look elsewhere with better reliability

### 1/5 — Shamefully bad

*2026-08-04, version 1.4.008*

Everything other reviewers have said - this is the worst app on my phone by a mile. Mitsubishi can afford to pay for proper app developers. Whoever designed and built this should start again. Preferably in another company. I won’t recommending Mitsubishi to others and I hope management wake up to the damage this is doing to their brand.

### 1/5 — Slow and Unresponsive

*2026-07-29, version 1.4.008*

This is hands down the worst app I’ve ever used. Clunky and slow. It’s not even like it has a load of fancy features to warrant it being clunky. I got air con I could control with an app - had I known how useless the app was I never would’ve gone for this air con. Absolute let down.

### 1/5 — Shockingly bad

*2026-07-25, version 1.4.008*

I’d give this zero stars if I could, it’s the worst app I’ve come across. Having so many problems linking the units to the app, now can ‘read-only’ on two of them as get a ‘temporary communication error’.

I’d prefer they had no app than this rubbish that has caused no end of frustration since getting the air con units installed. Stick to the remotes, at least they work and have more functionality than this worthless app.

### 1/5 — Hard to believe

*2026-07-25, version 1.4.008*

It’s hard to believe that in this day and age a company that big could make such a hopeless app. Eisaku Ito must not have these a/c in his house. I would have put Panasonics in if I had my time again, their remote app is great

### 1/5 — Poor app

*2026-07-23, version 1.4.008*

This is like an app from the first iPhone. Like something that the unpaid intern coded.
Clunky, poor design, missing features from the remote. Bat thermostatic control - I can set a temperature on the AC and it’ll just keep blasting all the way down to absolute zero.
No smarthome integration, widgets or even a shortcuts integration so we could make this a bit smarter ourselves.
The absolute bare minimum effort. 1 star

### 1/5 — Useless App

*2026-07-18, version 1.4.008*

The app is poor. It will not connect to the air conditioning after numerous attempts. I see reviews have dropped from 1.8 to 1.5. I expect better from Mitsubishi. I cannot access the wifi then I will be requesting a refund because it is not acceptable.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-06, version 1.4.008*

Works as intended no idea why it has a low rating good to be able to turn on the air conditioner when leaving work to get home to a warm house

### 5/5 — Works well

*2025-11-16, version 1.4.002*

Works perfectly well with my bronte wf1 model. No issues and always reliable

### 5/5 — Works fine

*2025-10-07, version 1.4.001*

Would like HomeKit control

### 5/5 — Works great

*2025-06-21, version 1.3.013*

Once my teenager assisted with setting up the App it works perfectly. I haven’t tried setting timers but I appreciate being able to operate and adjust the unit before getting out of bed on cold Melbourne mornings.

### 5/5 — Very good app

*2025-06-05, version 1.3.012*

Top air conditioner, very happy

### 5/5 — Macht, was machen soll

*2025-05-16*

Ich verstehe nicht viele negative Rezensionen. Anbindung an WLAN mit WPS in 2 Minuten problemlos, Grundfunktionen vorhanden, SRK35ZS-WF lässt sich fehlerfrei steuern. An Alexa-Routinen angebunden. Was will man mehr?

### 5/5 — AP usage 2025

*2025-02-02, version 1.3.008*

I was really impressed with the specifications of the Avanti plus and have purchased 2 units.

The app was updated a week ago, and happened to be the date that I had the systems installed.

Contrary to the other reviews, the app is great. I am assuming that the update may have fixed many of the criticisms.

It does need improvements to
Match the full features of the remote control. Eg adding the sleep button etc.

But holistically both systems are working perfectly in and out of the home.

Some advice (do not use WPS) connect to the WiFi if the unit, give it your WiFi home password then it will reboot and scan perfectly.

I recommend doing only one at a time too as their naming can be confusing.

You need to enable the WiFi using the remote control. It says in the manual to do it. Took 2 minutes.

### 5/5 — Overly Good App

*2025-01-24, version 1.3.008*

Not sure why all the reviews state this app is bad, just got two units installed and they work flawlessly with this app. Yes the app takes a few seconds to send the command but it’s an air conditioner, it doesn’t need to be instant.

### 5/5 — Läuft super!

*2025-01-23*
