## What is Smart Plumber Pro?

Smart Plumber Pro helps professionals design, review, and refine plumbing routes with a fast 3D workflow built for real jobs.

Choose the material system before you calculate. Smart Plumber Pro now supports PVC, Copper Solder, Copper Press, and Copper Compression catalogs, so route length, fitting takeoff, validation, material output, and the 3D preview follow the selected catalog.

Plan and validate routes:
• Build 3D pipe paths between Start and End nodes
• Preview elbows, couplings, fitting positions, and segment lengths
• Review route validation, clearance status, and total run details
• Convert an approved path into reserved obstacles for the next compute

Flexible node entry:
• Manual X, Y, Z entry with face and gender controls
• Tape Wizard for shared-reference and triangulation-based capture
• AR Beta for calibrated origin, +X, and +Y assisted capture on supported iPhone and iPad devices

Routing controls:
• Pipe size, elbow mode, force align, units, and material selection
• Obstacle-aware routing with configurable clearance
• Balanced route framing with zoom and inspection controls
• Route Info and Route Summary for quick review before installation

Catalog references:
• PVC uses Smart Plumber's legacy PVC reference catalog.
• Copper Solder uses NIBCO wrot copper solder reference dimensions.
• Copper Press uses NIBCO copper press reference dimensions.
• Copper Compression uses Conex compression reference dimensions.

Many major brands use close or similar dimensions, but fittings are not guaranteed identical. For critical cuts, confirm the selected catalog against the exact fitting brand being installed.
