### 1/5 — Can't register

*2017-02-13, version 1.1.6*

I have the code...when I hit register it says "fail" so I can't get it set up. Anyone have success or tips?

### 1/5 — How do you register?!?

*2016-02-20, version 1.1*

No instructions whatsoever. Asks for a product ID -what is this? Registration code countdown is a minute, but you don't get the code for at least several minutes. No support email or forums available. Currently my "smart" power strip is an expensive paperweight. Very disappointed!

### 1/5 — How to Register?

*2016-02-17, version 1.1*

I receive the unit with no instructions other than how to connect to a Smartthings hub. That worked but the app there only allows all on or off. Not so useful.

I downloaded this app and the registration process is horrible. It took me several times to get a “code” and after that, I had no clue what to put in the Product ID field, there is no dropdown box listing choices.

How about some instructions?

### 2/5 — Getting started

*2016-02-21, version 1.1*

The Kickstarter for the Smart Power Strip took a long time to come together, but many backers began receiving their hardware this week. Awesome, but the startup process isn't yet super well documented.

The app wants to send you a conformation code by email; even though there's a timer counting down seconds until you can have it send you another, don't worry: the codes don't expire, they're the same each time.

The app also wants a product code, which comes on a piece of cardboard with the product. Then you set up the wifi and it should work. I haven't gotten that far -- the wifi sync isn't working yet for me, but there seem to be non-obvious routes to success for the other parts of the software, so I'll see if I can update this once I get the rest of it working. For now, 2 stars, though I expect I'll give it more once I have full functionality.
