Only issue is that the Keyboard mode does not work even though the keyboard on screen is activated and awaiting input. Some of them are even universal and work no matter what brand your TV is. BUT… most of these apps only support common functions - navigation, launching apps, inputting text, and basic play / pause / volume controls. *THIS* app is ONLY for SONY BRAVIA Smart TVs - but has complete 100% functionality of the official Bravia remote! This means you no longer need the TV remote nearby to change the input to your Xbox or Blu-Ray player. Even more impressive is this app HAS ITS OWN PICTURE SETTINGS MENU! If you are a gamer like me, this feature is the most invaluable of all. Instant toggling of image enhancements and switching between colour space/temperature presets are things you can’t even do with the original remote! It took ~10 secs to navigate through the settings menu on the TV every time I wanted to change these… now I do it from my phone with 3 taps!!! That is why this app stands apart from the rest… I literally don’t need my original Bravia remote at all anymore unless the WiFi goes down. If you have a Sony Bravia, it really is the best free remote you can ask for! *Request for Developer* PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release a paid, no-ads version on the App Store! Or just update this one with the option to disable ads through an IAP. Absolutely abhorrent that you can’t even find a simple remote app that isn’t riddled with ads. ### 1/5 — Freezes up after using for a minute or so *2024-01-30* Like the title says, remote, will freeze up and not work after using for the first minute or so. This is while it’s loading some ad.
