Everything else looks good, but the keyboard is essential. Also, there is no option to remove ads. If the keyboard worked, I would gladly pay a couple dollars to permanently remove ads. ### 2/5 — Ads *2022-10-09, version 1.2* Within 5 seconds I got an ad; if you are looking for ad-free, keep looking and good luck. The problem has existed for some time IAW other reviews and the developer should have fixed it by now. Since it is free I am not as concerned with the ability to turn the TV on with the app or the existence of ads. You can turn the TV off. ### 2/5 — Ads? Really? *2020-05-10, version 1.2* I’m trying to control my TV because one of the kids lost the actual remote for this TV. So in the middle of trying to navigate the app to control my TV, a 5 second ad pops up. This is not the kind of app that should have ads. I get the ads at the bottom of the screen, but an ad that interferes with operating the device it’s intended to control is just dumb. The app works, once you figure out the layout. It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to switch back to live TV. ### 4/5 — Very good tv remote app! *2020-04-23, version 1.2* This app is very handy for when my children lose the remote. It is also on my local WiFi network. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, which I also just updated, and is also on my local network. Finally, I downloaded this app. Not only does this app NOT control my TV, the app can’t even FIND my LG TV to begin setting anything up. Utter USELESS. ### 1/5 — Can’t change channel and app support is just an advert *2021-05-15, version 1.2* Don’t bother. The channels screen just lists the channels and you can’t select a channel. If you go to app support for this nonsense on the App Store you’ll find that is a link to an advert - one can only assume that Color Tiger is so embarrassed by their product that they don’t want to acknowledge that it is theirs. ### 1/5 — Fix the GD “OK” Button *2021-04-26, version 1.2* Please for the live of god, do not waste your time or storage space on this useless app. Not only will it bombard you with ads as you navigate the app, the most important function of a remote (the ok/select button) is non-functional. I can only use it if I turn my phone off and on, which, is pretty stupid. You have to have a physical remote to connect your TV to the app, which is a pain. if, like in my case, your dog won’t stop eating remotes. 2.) A new ad pops up EVERY time you open the app. Annoying. 3.) Finally, and most importantly. THE OK BUTTON DOESN’T WORK.
