### 5/5 — Smart Salt

*2021-01-23, version 4.1.2*

Once you take the time To learn it it comes pretty easy and it’s really easy to tell when you had the amount of sodium you’re allowed I really like it

### 5/5 — Great App for tracking sodium

*2020-11-20, version 4.1.2*

I needed something to track sodium. I wanted something simple without all of the detail other food apps provide. This is it thank you!

### 5/5 — Indispensable app.

*2019-11-28, version 4.0.1*

Great app, works fine and is simple. I needed a way to track my sodium intake and this is it. Let's you enter the food if you want, give you a nice little chat and lets you set a limit. Nothing fancy but has everything I need.

### 5/5 — Great little app!

*2019-11-28, version 4.0.1*

This app is a perfect little tracker for those of us who need to ensure our sodium intake stays below a max. The developer recently enhanced the app to track not only the current day's sodium, but any day, so if you forget to track something, you can go back and enter it later.

### 5/5 — Simple and Perfect!

*2019-11-27, version 4.0.1*

The great app simple and convenient but needs for an option to alphabetize my list it would make it faster for daily impute.

### 5/5 — Good choice.

*2019-11-27, version 4.0.1*

The goal of this app is eating healthy and get fit. this app focused on health goals like daily sodium, intake goal, and step's goal.

### 5/5 — Love this app.

*2019-11-26, version 4.0.1*

Great app for those who look up for calculates how much sodium you eat per day. Had a remarkable difference after using it.!!

### 5/5 — Nice app.

*2019-11-25, version 4.0.1*

It's nice and simple. Though I do wish it could look up sodium content in particular food and I do wish you could edit previous days if you made a mistake or didn't remember what the sodium content was in your breakfast, for example.

### 5/5 — simple and perfect!

*2019-11-25, version 4.0.1*

it's easy to use. very nice application It’s very easy with sodium tracker - it will help you achieve the right type of nutrients.

### 5/5 — I like

*2019-09-17, version 4.0*

I like this app because it allows me to control my salt intake every day

### 2/5 — I want a refund!

*2019-08-10, version 3.4.1*

I can’t believe I paid for this app. It’s clunky at best and doesn’t have access to name brand or even common low-sodium foods. It does offer custom-entered foods. I also bought the upgraded version thinking I would be able to search for certain foods in my diet. Nope. I was able to keep a food diary on a free app that I can search for the food I eat, choose the amount of servings and even scan bar codes to bring up foods - pre-packaged or fresh. So much faster and easier! MyFitnessPal’s free version makes this one obsolete.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App will not let you do anything without paying

*2021-09-11, version 4.1.2*

There is no trial run to see how it works, it demands money from the beginning and will not let you track anything to see how it works, or if you will even like the app.

### 1/5 — Not enough data

*2019-12-27, version 4.1*

It is useless to accurately keep track of sodium when the products you are eating are not in the app’s data base. For instance it had none of the numerous varieties of Kraft mayo. Kraft is not some small local brand, and for this app it doesn’t exist. I found the same for whole grain bread— and then I gave up. If the data base was good this would be a useful app, but as it is, just a waste of $3.99!

### 1/5 — Downloaded and it did nothing

*2019-11-23, version 4.0.1*

I downloaded app and when I went to use it, the first food item I put in immediately brought me to a buy the pro option. I don’t begrudge paying 3.99 but put that upfront in the App Store without freaking playing games. Don’t waste my time.

### 1/5 — Need refund

*2019-09-24, version 4.0*

The app is not user-friendly at all. Even when I enter a custom food, putting in the correct amount and the correct sodium amount. The app chooses to change the sodium amount to either double or triple of what I entered. This is not working. I need a refund. I’ve sent an email and hoping I will get a response.

### 1/5 — Don’t waist your time

*2019-07-29, version 3.4.1*

Very disappointed wanted an app to calculate sodium intake without knowing the exact sodium amount from the item but you can’t look up brands or even choose an item from the category as simple as just choosing bread without paying for the full version also you can’t put exact sodium count they only have specific amounts you can choose from not worth the download

### 2/5 — Very confusing

*2022-09-05, version 4.1.2*

This app is very confusing and when you buy the full version you don’t get much more not even an explanation. The chart doesn’t make sense. And then when you want to get a refund for the 3.99 you paid you don’t get it. Your told where to go to get it but it doesn’t work. Terrible app!!!!!!!!!!

### 2/5 — Very difficult to learn how to use

*2021-12-17, version 4.1.2*

So where do I find the directions fir use?!
Tried for a few days & deleted because it blocks the screen with ads I cant get around.

### 2/5 — Pretty useless to me

*2021-09-09, version 4.1.2*

We rarely buy processed foods from the very strange selections you offer. Usually fresh, homemade or food cart, none of which show up in your choices. Please refund my $3.99.

### 2/5 — Too much work

*2020-10-22, version 4.1.1*

Paid the $3.99 because in hopes of a quick and easy way to track food and sodium (trying to identify triggers). Way too difficult to enter anything! Setup a simple Google Sheets which is way easier!

### 2/5 — Confusing

*2020-02-07, version 4.1.1*

Don’t exactly understand why, when I add food or a recipe, then I cannot pull it up when it’s time to track it. I get SO frustrated with apps with no (or outdated) instructions and clunky interfaces! Not good for a sodium tracker to drive up the old blood pressure...
