## What is Smart Score Counter?

Have you ever played a game where you needed to write down points for each player and count them up right away — and couldn't find a pen and paper at the same time?

Score Counter replaces paper, pen, and even a calculator. Just create a new game, add players with one tap, optionally set a few rules, and type in points as you play. The app handles the rest.

App works well but will give you a pop up that fraudulent says you were compromised and forcing you to the phone app site to purchase their virus protection.
Will not be using app anymore.

**Developer response:** Hi, thank you for reporting this — what you saw was a malicious 
advertisement from a third-party ad network, not Score Counter 
itself. Fake "your device is compromised" pop-ups are scams 
designed to push users toward sketchy antivirus apps. They are 
not part of Score Counter and I am as frustrated as you are 
when they slip through.

I have reported the incident to my ad provider (Google AdMob) 
and tightened the content filters to block this category. If 
you remember the name of the "antivirus" the ad pushed, an email 
to martinva32@gmail.com helps me block them faster.

If you prefer an ad-free experience permanently, Score Counter 
offers a one-time Premium upgrade or a monthly subscription that 
removes all ads. Either way, I am sorry this happened during 
your use of the app.
