You can take a picture of whatever you want to draw. I know Great right. Since I did the journal review like what this is now I wanted to do more of you so this is the one that is for those that have a smart sketcher become the smartest artist so back to you can take a photo of what you wanna draw and it on the projector and you can trace it so this is a pretty good app I mean, obviously I own this app to so I’ve obviously had so much experience and I was once trying to draw one and it looked so identical no differences wish I could show you. Oh, and don’t forget you can go on the Internet and copy your photo and you can use that too, so that’s all the time we had for today, cause I need to get in the bath now bye! ### 2/5 — You have to continue paying *2025-12-31, version 4.69* So I invested in this for my kiddos and it was a lot! But it sounded neat and I hoped it would be worth it in the end. The biggest sellers to me vs other models were that they can use any picture on your phone or online (not just 16) and give you step by step instructions. Buuuut you get to pay monthly for that option. On top of the $120 for the toy. It makes you connect before you can do anything and I wanted to test the picture feature and get some drawing options set up for my kid without having to plug it in and set it up. We couldn’t connect it with our Amazon fire tablet at all. The connection via Bluetooth would work on and off with my iPhone, but when it did connect, I wasn’t able to do anything else with my iPhone as switching between apps would kill the connection. This doesn’t work for me because I want to be able to use my phone while my daughter draws. He used it for just a few hours and then put it away for a while when he went back to use it again it no longer worked. I reached out to the company for support and they kind of gave me the runaround and then told me it was normal wear and tear and that there was nothing they could do. Then they offered me some discount on some paper products? I don’t know. It was weird. We won’t be buying one of these again. TLDR it breaks easily and the company doesn’t back their product up. ### 1/5 — Unable To Set up New Account *2024-12-30, version 4.62* Got this for Christmas. Went through the set process and tried to create a flycatcher account. Account creation fails every time. Just says “oops something went wrong, try again later”. This seem like a new bug to me. Please update and fix this issue soon.
