Most features function smoothly, and it does a great job controlling and monitoring the unit. However, the placement of the on/off button is a significant drawback. It’s located at the bottom of the screen, which makes it easy to accidentally press when swiping up to close the app. This has caused the stove to shut off unintentionally on more than one occasion. It takes forever to turn back on. It works 1% of the time at most. Then there’s the app. The app will allow you to turn the stove off and on, which is a great feature. Beyond that it’s absolutely useless. Setting a desired temperature doesn’t matter because the stove will either keep burning and not shut off at said temperature or it will shut off and then not start back up. Also the app is very hard to navigate and crashes at least every other time I use it. And the upload log feature doesn’t work so the children who made this app won’t ever be able to see its many flaws. 10/10 would not recommend ### 2/5 — Needs updated *2023-02-01, version 1.0.6* Would be helpful if it showed what was on the stove display ie start up, initializing, cleaning, and shut down… The power button is right where you have to swipe to close the app which will cause you to turn the stove off. Also would be nice to actually have the P Settings and Eco settings labeled for what they are. The notifications don’t actually alert you on an iPhone, there’s no way to know if the stove shut down unless you open the app. ### 3/5 — It’s only just okay *2022-12-08, version 1.0.6* Sure, it works. But it is definitely not very ‘smart’. The main issue I have is that the app schedule feature does not seem to really know if the stove is on or off. Every event you set in the schedule will simply tell the stove to do the opposite of what state it is in. Example. The stove is off, which is as it should be in your schedule. You come home early and manually turn it ON. You have a scheduled event to turn ON at 3pm. At 3pm… it’s already on, and the app turns the unit OFF. Pretty dumb and such an easy fix. So… it certainly works, but this ain’t Ronco. You can not set it… and forget it. It requires constant monitoring ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worst layout possible *2026-01-23, version 1.1.1* The layout is really simple and easy to understand, HOWEVER…..The button that will send your stove into shutdown is in the WORST spot (the area where you would normally swipe the app away to close it). I have accidentally hit it twice now (once in the middle of the night just because I woke up and wanted to check the temperature). The power button should be placed at the top or anywhere else except the bottom of the screen. I lost count how many times I’ve accidentally shut the stove down just by swiping up trying to exit the app having to wait for the cool down process to finish before restarting. I doubt anyone from the developing team ever reads these reviews so getting a updated version probably won’t happen.
