The app doesn't refresh in real time even with all the access. There is no way to force the app to manually refresh as well. This app doesn't help in extreme situations for eg. had gotten a puncture in one of my tires at night next morning after driving for a few kms got a warning of low pressure. That did help me in getting the tyres checked, but would have been way more helpful if the readings are done a bit more frequently. Also the pressure is not very accurate ### 3/5 — graphics required significantly improvement *2025-12-01, version 3.1.0* User interface and graphics required significantly improvement, CarPlay integration with this feel incomplete as it’s only show the tyre pressure and air temperature on main screen. A driver is not expected to scroll down and read text giving information about tyre pressures while driving. Earlier it was easy see details of all tyres on one screen but now it’s difficult to scroll up and down while driving. It’s very convenient for checking tyre pressure. I am really happy with the customer care support. They are really helpful. I lost my smart tyre app login password and app was not working and Then they helped me very well. However, my experience was turned around thanks to the exceptional support provided by Ms. Preeti. She promptly arranged a replacement for the faulty unit without any hassle, Not only that, but she also went the extra mile to assist me in setting up the app, making the process seamless and easy to understand. Her professionalism, patience, and dedication to customer satisfaction were truly commendable. Thanks to her, I’m back on the road with a fully functional TPMS and confidence in the product. The sensors are giving accurate and near realtime updates. I’ve also installed a HUD device, which is also working perfectly. Special mention to the customer care services who are prompt, professional and helpful in handling queries and even in direct purchases. Though it shows the tyre pressure as expected, the UI is not compatible with the screen size. And the image is split from half and is not aligned correctly. Developers please fix this to be compatible with all the screen sizes. No one bothers to open mobile app to check notifications while driving. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Apple car play user interface of Smart Tyre app *2025-07-30, version 3.1.0* I am using your TPMS in my vehicle, and I’ve noticed that the Apple CarPlay interface of the SmartTyre app has recently changed. The new interface feels inconvenient and does not display the tyre pressure information as clearly as before. The previous interface was much better in terms of readability and usability. I kindly request you to consider enhancing the current interface for Apple CarPlay to make it more user-friendly. ### 1/5 — Everything’s good but the app icon and UI *2025-06-23, version 3.1.0* The app icon especially on CarPlay feels like a wall painting done on shops , probably giving it a much more sleeker design with just a tyre as an icon would more aesthetic, the current icon is too busy, possibly being able to change the app icon is something that the devs can do Currently, the CarPlay display is also changed and it’s very unintuitive. The older system used to get. All the info in a single glance now you have to scroll through. Things on CarPlay should not be needed to scroll through ### 1/5 — Update CarPlay for Larger Screens *2025-06-11, version 3.0.8* The app hasn’t been updated in over two years, and it clearly shows. When used with CarPlay, the display is distorted—especially on larger screens—making the experience frustrating and nearly unusable. I reported this issue to the developers a year ago, but there’s been no resolution or even an acknowledgment since. It feels like the app has been abandoned, with no active support or maintenance. ### 1/5 — No update *2024-11-03, version 3.0.8* It’s almost more than year app got update, don’t know somebody is there to maintain this app. Sensors are not showing details in vehicle cluster even though feature is enabled in car software. Values are not correct when I fill 34 PSI nitrogen on my car values shows 41… and after few minutes of drive & it comes back to 38. Not sure how to rely on these sensors on long drives ### 1/5 — Very unreliable product *2023-08-21, version 3.0.8* The sensors are not updated real time.. one sensor not responding.. other sensors giving false reading.. there is no customer care.. they do not respond to WhatsApp number.. and toll free number does not work..do not rely on this product.. better to buy tyre pressure gauge and check air with every refuel. Authentication Failed.. let’s see if customer care responds here ### 1/5 — Stop pestering to enable location *2023-06-06, version 3.0.8* Firstly thanks for the app. One irritating thing about this app is it’s relentless pursuit of asking us to keep the location service on at all times. I myself being a developer don’t see a point on why you’d need location to be always on? I feel the intent of this device is to collect location info which in no way is required for this app to work. ### 1/5 — Poor performance *2023-02-14, version 3.0.6* If it get installed you are Luckiest person it started catching the tyre pressure second stage of Luck.. if it doesn’t detect the air pressure then your life is in mess… my 2 customer and myself in my car is having issues and not got resolved till date … rather selling from the counter it is not important it should be familiar product … don’t hire marketing companies they don’t know how to install and help if any issues arises while Installation . Educate the dealers on live examples or video shared by JK TEAM… how to tackle the issues , as we don’t have that much time at counter to handle simple sensor installation and their difficulties Product is Good but issues need to addressed in proper manner ### 2/5 — Not much useful kinda of waste of money *2025-09-11, version 3.1.0* Below average performance the app just lags and does not update Further it needs access to location for some real time thing which does not make any sense as the Bluetooth clone ruin is always there and whenever the pressure drops it can just notify I am deeply disappointed with both the app ans the functioning of this tpms as whole Suggestions : You can give real time update of the pressure and temperature and the app can run in background and notify in case of any odd situation The graphs are useless they are just not providing any discernable data. ### 2/5 — App needs improvement *2025-04-01, version 3.0.8* The sole reason I bought it for the CarPlay support. Although the app works over the CarPlay, but it doesn’t gets refreshed automatically. To update the data, I’ve to pickup the phone and launch the app to get the updated pressure reading. The app doesn’t gets refreshed in the background, despite of all the permissions. All brand TPMS are almost same, the USP is the app. it definitely need improvement. UPDATE ( April 2025): Car play has stopped working at all !! The application doesn’t open in CarPlay anymore. ### 2/5 — BS Bhogal *2022-12-08, version 3.0.2* I am using TPMS since 13th September 2022, all the sensors were working fine with the previous version of app on my iPhone 13. After the app was updated, it is not working properly. One tyre (FL) is not updating its parameters. When it is tapped ,the app is closed. The GUI is not appealing as the previous version. All the flaws were reported to support team by email, one support person suggested me to re install the app. After reinstalling the application it is working the same way. After failing multiple attempts I called the customer helpline toll free number and got the issue resolved within less than 5 minutes.
