I was using this to provide audio for my clients. However, the format is not the more useful mp3 but mp4a. Some “updates” have also resulted in the recording stopping before I’m done, arbitrarily. **Developer response:** Hello, Thanks for your feedback. We are shipping more and more updates to add new functionality and improvements. We have not encountered the arbitrary stop and will definitely look into it immediately. Regarding the m4a format, we chose it because it typically offers high-quality audio with efficient compression. Furthermore it's Apple standard so it works well with the eco-system. However I will add MP3 export to the list of potential features to add with one of the upcoming updates. ### 2/5 — Great interface but lacks accuracy *2020-02-27* Unfortunately, the speech to text is not terribly accurate. There's plenty else to like - the interface is better than other apps in it's class and it's easy to use. I really like the text file format. The recording cut off when my phone went to sleep and there is no way that I can find to stop that. Also you don’t see how long your recording is or a running time so you can’t make notes of time stamps for places to go back to. I have no idea who this is intended for but it’s not journalists. **Developer response:** Hi, Thank you for your feedback. It has been a long time but the app has grown since then and I just noticed that all your concerns have been addressed and more features like summarization, translation, action items have been added. The app also has increased in accuracy and we have a few journalists who love the app, potentially you could be one of them. Why do they need to know my thoughts, what I write? Simply another example of what appears to be on the surface or useful app hi Jack to become a marketing tool. Many other ways of dictating directly into technology today. I’ll stick with those. **Developer response:** Hello, None of the data gets sent to Apple. App runs 100% on device, you could run it in airplane mode at all times and it will still work. This is also easily confirmable by network sniffing tools. The reason you get the pop-up is because the app does use Apple speech framework and opts out of the network since Apple allows that. I know the prompt can be confusing and would wish that Apple clarifies it in one of their future updates. Das eigentlich gute erkannte transcript word dann nachträglich nochmal in nonsense verändert. ### 1/5 — Really annoying *2020-10-01* The app might be perfect, but as the app asks penetrant to buy the pro version I cant really test it. I really don't understand such developer. The app seems only to work proper in English. The upload from other apps seems only possible in the pro version. Always plays after recording. *2020-06-28* When you stop the recording it automatically plays the recording, which makes it super annoying to use around people. Also there is no amplitude graph so navigating a long recording is difficult.
