This release begins with a complete redesign of how you get started: every screen from the initial setup choice through Hub and app setup now has a cleaner look that matches the rest of the app, plus a short intro video on first launch. Beyond that, the Plotter and logbook both got meaningful upgrades, plus a handful of smaller fixes.

The instrument panel now defaults to a clean one-column layout, and on tablets in landscape mode the map sits beside your monitoring widgets instead of below them.

AIS Aids to Navigation
Buoys, beacons, and other fixed marks now appear directly on the sea map with type-specific IALA symbols at their real GPS position. Tap any mark for details. Multiple AIS data sources have also been combined into a single, unified feed, so you see fewer gaps and duplicates in the traffic around you.

- Bearing to Next Waypoint (BTW) widget: the true compass bearing to your next waypoint, independent of the course you are actually making
- Rudder Angle widget: a rotating rudder icon plus the live angle in degrees, sourced directly from your Hub

The Plotter keeps growing. Version 1.41.0 focuses on the chart view: more instruments, deeper zoom, and tighter integration with the tools you use while underway.

The Plotter:
- Zoom in further. The maximum zoom level has been increased so you can see your position, anchor radius, and nearby objects in much more detail.
- Six new instrument widgets in the carousel: Target Speed (Polar), Leeway, Speed Through Water (STW), SOG/GWS, Upwind Speed, and Polar Performance. Tap Polar Performance to jump straight to your polar table.
- Tap any AIS vessel on the chart and its details appear in the sidebar, keeping the map fully visible.
- Tap the Log Status instrument to jump directly to the Logbook page without leaving the chart.
- The Logbook is now a full page in the Plotter carousel. Scroll to it from the chart view to review your trip log.
- Portrait mode on tablets: the instrument sidecar now adds new rows as you drag it down, making the most of the extra screen space.

Comfort & Logbook:
- #sailorsgram has a cleaner entry flow. It now lives in the navigation drawer, and guides you through picking a time range first, then your post type (photo post or route animation).
- The Hub connection indicator now appears at the top of every screen, so you always know your connection state.
- Trim Impact Charts now display your full data range without gaps.

- Hub: the on-board database has been optimized for the Hub's hardware, reducing memory use and unexpected service restarts.
