## What is SmartClean?

Your iPhone is full of photos you don't need: duplicates, near-identical shots, bursts, old screenshots, blurry pictures and giant videos. SmartClean finds them with Apple's on-device intelligence and helps you clear them out safely — without a subscription and without sending a single photo anywhere.

FINDS WHAT'S WASTING SPACE
• Duplicates — identical copies
• Similar photos — the 9 near-identical shots of the same moment, with the best one marked and the reason why (sharpest, best faces, highest resolution)
• Similar videos — the same moment filmed twice
• Bursts — keep one frame, drop the rest
• Screenshots and screen recordings
• Blurry photos (your favourites are never flagged)
• Large videos, large photos and Live Photos
• "What's using space" breakdown — shown free, before anything else

SWIPE THROUGH YOUR MONTHS
Keep or trash one photo at a time. Undo any swipe. Your progress is saved as you go.

DELETE WITHOUT FEAR
Nothing is deleted until you empty SmartClean's trash. Before that, you see the exact number of items iOS will ask you to confirm. Deleted items go to Photos › Recently Deleted for 30 days — and SmartClean tells you so, with a button straight to it.

HONEST PRICING
Try it free: scan your whole library, see everything it finds, and delete up to 100 items or 1 GB. Want more? One payment of $4.99 unlocks unlimited clean-up forever. No weekly fees. No trial that turns into a subscription. No ads. Family Sharing supported.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
SmartClean has no servers, no account, no analytics and no tracking. Everything — including image analysis — happens on your iPhone with Apple's Vision framework. App Privacy label: Data Not Collected.

Works with full or limited photo access. Requires iOS 17 or later; "best composition" scoring uses iOS 18.
