He has been using it most of the time with his SG bat. It is something fairly unique where after playing a shot, you can instantly see technical analysis. It fascinates me quite a lot as I would normally see that type of analysis on television during an international match. My son has used it quite effectively and willing to learn through the analysis and many times has been able to auto rectify his technique in order to get increase shot efficiency - a feature in BatSense that I admire the most. Although it is not a replacement of a coach, it actually compliments the coach and even it has a feature to sync shots where the coach can analyse even remotely. The app is full of bugs. Keeps crashing. I am not even able to sync data. I don’t know whether it’s a faulty bat sense or it’s just the app. Either way, the app is poor. When I eventually got it working after a few attempts managed to pair and then several attempts to calibrate it only registered one out of ten shots. Returned to the makers stand at a cricket World Cup Match (bought at a previous game). Card machine “wasn’t working” (clearly was as someone bought one when I was there) so the genuinely helpful guy I dealt with had to go off to find his boss who gave him the cash to refund me.
