I can honestly say this is the most disgusting horrible to use app I’ve ever wasted time downloading, I got it to control my hue lights but it’s impossible to use without paying for a subscription, a subscription to use LIGHTS!! Ones I’ve already paid for do yourself a favour and keep away from this app the developers aren’t worthy of your time money or energy.

I bought the app after getting my bulbs and I found out it needed a subscription to use. I got it for a week as I wanted to use my lights but then I figure out it is not the official Phillips hue light app. Waste of £4. The app is completely unusable without the subscription only being able to turn lights off or on no customisation like brightness or colour. Make sure to get the official Phillips hue app and don’t waste you money

I got this lightbulb because it was said to be the most reliable lightbulb on the market.  I purchased the lightbulb only to find out it has a weekly subscription… not monthly WEEKLY, On top of this I order to use the app free you have to exit out of a pop up window to buy their weekly subscription of 4.99 a week of over 20 times to turn off the bulb remotely. I will FOREVER BOYCOTT ANY PHILLIPS PRODUCT AND ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THEM. You have forever lost a once satisfied customer of your products. There is NO coming back from this… Ask Wal-Mart.

Update: Do not download this app. The developers are scam artists and should be behind bars. There is an official app called “Hue” that works well. This app, however, was designed to steal your money by charging you hundreds of dollars to change the color of your bulb (a function you’ve already paid for).
I strongly urge Apple to take this app off the store. They are giving Hue a bad name.

I had to delete this app within 20 minutes of downloading it because it showed me more than 20 ads. Not just across the bottom of the screen. Pop ups for flash sales. Every time I tried to hit a button or a slider: FLASH SALE! I have never wanted so badly in so short a time to reach through a screen and strangle whoever made this monstrosity of a failure. I managed to turn on my light exactly once. This isn’t an app, it’s a annoy-o-matic. 1 star is too high a rating. I hope whatever middle management shill ordered this abomination gets spastically explosive diarrhea every time this app raises a pop-up. If we have to look at it, they should have to feel it.

Man kann sie kurz mal testen und ab dann kostet es 5,99€ pro Woche. Absolute abzocke in meinen Augen! Ich hole mir jetzt doch lieber die Phillips Bridge und nutz die kostenlose Phillips App direkt 😂 Kranke Welt der Apps Wahnsinn!

I’ve now scaled to 40 lights, 10 sensors and 10 buttons. Had one or two sensors struggle to connect but every other light or button setup was quick and flawless. Quality lights. Quality app. 
I no longer turn on and off my lights they automatically turn on as I walk around my house after sunset. I couldn’t be happier with the entire setup. I’m very surprised with the bad app rating. Why is everyone complaining about a subscription? 🤷‍♂️

Egal, was man klickt, man bekommt nur Werbung für das Abo oder für weitere teure Apps. Die einzige Funktion ist ein-/ausschalten. Dafür brauch ich kein 40 EUR Leuchtmittel und App-Abo, das geht auch mit einem Lichtschalter. App wird gelöscht und Birne geht zurück.
