I also wish the summary was more detailed. And what happened to my trial period? ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-02-25, version 8.1.1+129* I did not even. Omegle the sign up and they charged me. Customer service is nonexistent. The app isn’t what I thought it was, I’ll never use it. It’s hard to login and cancel it because of all the adds covering the path to cancellation. I wish they were a bit longer and more detailed. The ads all show a speak eloquently book but it is not available. I asked customer support and they could not help since I am on a trial subscription and not a paid member. Disappointing. ### 4/5 — Worth the Money if you like Books *2026-01-27* Pro: More than a preview for books you want to read or listen to in order to filter choices for buying books or audio books. Con: You can’t search titles. I like this app, I’m on the free trial right now but I’m gonna go ahead and buy it. I don’t always have time to sit down and read or audiobook listen and when I do I hate finding myself halfway through a book or audiobook just to realize it’s not at all what I was looking for and feeing like I wasted my time and money. I buy at least 30 books a year; 10 audio 20 digital or hard copy. That’s around $150-$200 in books and for half of them to not be what I wanted I’m wasting $75-$100 per year. I’m hoping the summarizing app will make better use of the short chunks of time I have and help filter out the books I don’t want and with data analytics suggest more of what I do want, therefore better optimizing my book purchases. The set up is extensive I don’t even think I completed it and 7 days was gone and the app began to charge $24.99 and $19.99 I’ve been trying to cancel for months and I finally had the opportunity to finish the set up and the app only allows you to delete the app. The support function does not work. Hopefully someone reads this review before trying the app. Buyer beware! ### 1/5 — Kinda Sus… *2026-05-19* Most of this I feel like could be learned in a chat with ChatGPT for free (not that I’d recommend that). A bit of a scam then. Besides, increasing your intelligence is NOT done by having summaries read to you. There’s no shortcut to true intelligence…you have to read the book. Figure out what the author is trying to say and don’t rely on someone (or something) telling you what to think. Some of the prompts had poor grammar too…didn’t make me trust this developer 😅. I looked at another app called “history” by the same developer, and it literally had the same question prompts asked as in this app when you open it. I paid $8.99 then about a half hour later I got charged for 2499 and then a week and a half later I got charged another 2499. And trying to get a hold of anybody to cancel your subscription is impossible. I had to cancel my debit card to stop it.
