SmartPay Check-Link Business Gas Discount Program Businesses save 10₵ a gallon on gas (including diesel) every day. Every time your drivers use SmartPay Business to fill up, you save your business 10₵ a gallon at the pump immediately as the price on the pump will literally drop 10₵. Put as many drivers as you want under your SmartPay Business account. Each driver has his or her own ID for the app, and individual purchase limits for each driver may be set by the business owner. SmartPay Business may be used for in-store purchases, and business owners may choose to block the in-store purchase feature for some or all drivers. Owners may also choose to enable the odometer feature in SmartPay Business to better track and monitor vehicle usage. Not a good app if you have problems just signing up for an account! ### 1/5 — Good luck with this one *2024-02-07, version 3.0.0* App needs some serious work. Logging in can take over a minute (with correct credentials). Horribly slow and buggy. Only giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it does EVENTUALLY work if you have all the free time in the world to wait for it, and to attempt to login multiple times (again, credentials are correct, just times out constantly). ### 1/5 — HORRIBLE *2023-11-28, version 3.0.0* The only thing worse than this app is the customer service! App locks you out, constantly and getting it reset is more difficult than getting the Pope to sing backup for Rahmstein! ### 1/5 — Won’t even log me in *2021-11-15, version 2.0.0* App used to work about 50% of the time (if that) and now after an update it wont even log in despite my credentials being the same. Your gonna want cards through smart pay cause this app is garbage. ### 1/5 — New Update Broke App *2021-10-23, version 2.0.0* The new update collerely broke this app. Cannot login at all. Stranded at a gas station with no way of paying for my gas. Spent 30,‘United on the telephone with a useless rep and I’m still stranded here. What nonsense! ### 1/5 — Bahlows *2021-08-09, version 1.2.6* Don’t bother. Never works. If you live near a pilot fuel station download theirs. I’ve never had a problem with theirs. ### 1/5 — Only works half the time *2021-07-27, version 1.2.6* App doesn’t work most of the time. “Card not authorized”. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother with this app *2021-04-02, version 1.2.6* App only works about 50% of the time and only after spending 10 minutes at the pump waiting for the app to approve the transaction. For some reason one time while walking INTO the store I was able to get the pump to authorize transaction. Sometimes it states pump not found, try another pump forcing one to drive to another pump and most cases you have to wait again....Not sure why they continue to advertise for an app which doesn’t work. Seems like a huge waste of money. I hope another gas company like BP or Mobil or Circle K - buys them out and makes things right.... ### 3/5 — Ok when it works.. *2021-03-17, version 1.2.6* 7 out of 10 times authorizing pump ends up with “card not authorized” Try to authorize again, same. 3rd time it might authorize the pump, usually it won’t. Try a different pump, sometimes that one will work, most of the time not. Spending 10 minutes trying to get fuel is unacceptable, especially when you fill the tank once or twice a day.
