### 4/5 — Update

*2019-03-29, version 1.0*

Will you be updating this app for the new IOS?

### 2/5 — So near, yet so far

*2015-02-19, version 1.0*

This looks promising, in the same way that Frank Bruno always did. In practise, streaming from WD NAS drive to Onkyo 609 meant that tracks had to be manually cued, and trying to save a playlist caused the app to lock up. So, another rather disappointing app.

### 3/5 — iOS 8 killed it

*2014-10-05, version 1.0*

This was an app I used daily and loved until the iOS 8 update. It is glitchy now and doesn't have available buttons like play, pause, fast forward. It streams but you have no control of it.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2014-08-12, version 1.0*

This App has nothing to offer. Hasn't even been updated in over 2 years...

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2014-07-08, version 1.0*

Error message 'Unable to configure network read stream'. Doesn't work

### 1/5 — Useless, doesn't play any media.

*2014-04-22, version 1.0*

Waste of money and time, it doesn't have any codec (mpg, avi, mkv, etc). Better use nPlayer, it I amazing and support all type.

### 1/5 — Outdated, and doesn’t seem to work

*2014-02-05, version 1.0*

This app seems to be out of date - their support web site doesn’t even appear to work and the only items I can see in it are from years ago. The app does browse DLNA sources but reports an error on every file format I tried it on. Probably should be removed from the App Store...

### 2/5 — Could be really good

*2014-01-04, version 1.0*

The app worked great with basically no setup, however it freezes a lot and most of the time the video will play, but not the audio. Fix those issues and this would be a more than 5 star app.

### 1/5 — Does not recognize my local DLNA|UPNP servers.

*2013-12-21, version 1.0*

Does not recognize DLNA|UPNP servers, on my local LAN.

### 4/5 — Works well, not best layout

*2013-09-14, version 1.0*

Easily found me DLNA folder on freeNAS (you need a DLNA plugin there) and showed by category on my iPad.

Would be a better layout if it was a grid with click to get more details/play.

### 1/5 — Nice attempt

*2013-08-12, version 1.0*

Found server very easily, instantly infact.

But doesn't play avi? My dnla is set to convert, but this doesn't work with that.

Found a wmv to play, and it crashed... So uninstalled.

### 3/5 — Crashes

*2013-06-04, version 1.0*

When I open some movies:(

### 1/5 — What can it play?

*2013-04-21, version 1.0*

Almost all my videos are mp4/mp3 video/audio and it can't play it. Why not support some of the most popular formats? And it does not display all directories

### 3/5 — Avi

*2013-03-30, version 1.0*

When is this app going to support Abu files apart from that everything else works pretty good

### 2/5 — No support for AVI files

*2013-03-09, version 1.0*

Downloaded this for use as a dlna client, but it won't play the most common video format. Disappointing. Also not a pretty app but I would gladly have overlooked that for proper video support.

### 1/5 — iPhone 5 support??

*2013-02-03, version 1.0*

Booo

### 1/5 — No FLAC support

*2013-01-19, version 1.0*

Poor

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Junk

*2017-02-23, version 1.0*

Does not work. Locks up

### 1/5 — Completely Unusable

*2017-01-21, version 1.0*

Just tried this app with iOS. Not usable. Crashes, pops up dialog boxes with no text and no buttons. Just a waste of time, looks like it comes from iOS 6.

### 1/5 — Plays videos but freezes

*2016-08-15, version 1.0*

It will play most any video but there is no way to stop the video or return to the previous screen. The player just freezes and will not respond to tapping the screen.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2016-07-11, version 1.0*

iPad 4. Installed, browsed, added to playlist, crash. Uninstalled and moved on within 90 seconds.

### 1/5 — Crashes a Lot

*2016-04-03, version 1.0*

I mean all the time. Not stable.

### 1/5 — It is terrible

*2016-01-10, version 1.0*

I have iOS 9.2

Can't pause and resume
Exit app and comeback to find video paused and no way to press play.

Exit from app in middle of playlist, you have to recreate playlist.

During video, there no buttons:(play,pause,skips,etc.)

### 1/5 — Don't bother, too old

*2016-01-02, version 1.0*

As a DNLA browser for UMS (Universal Media Server) this a snappy, responsive client - way better than VLC, which can only see the server but not its contents. Go figure.

Alas that's as far as it goes... the moment you try to play something the app locks up solid and you have to terminate it. That's what you get for an app that hasn't been updated since 2010, I suppose.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2015-04-26, version 1.0*

I tried to play a HighRes .MOV file, and it kept saying its a .MPG and didn't play it.
Plus it didn't play much of anything else either, except a standard low-res .MOV video.

This App hasn't been updated since 2010
The developer has basically abandoned it.

Junk rubbish..!

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2014-11-22, version 1.0*

Crashed on playback from UpNp server, don't waste your time.

### 1/5 — Does not support mkv files.

*2014-08-21, version 1.0*

No mkv file support.

### 5/5 — Worked instantly

*2012-08-24, version 1.0*

I just installed this free app (ipad2) and it immediately found my NSA310 server. No degree in IT required! Able to browse the music library by artist, genre, album etc., etc. Clicked a file at random and it played almost instantly, no buffering or anything. Excellent for a free app.

### 5/5 — PS3 media server

*2012-05-20, version 1.0*

Works well with PS3 Media Server.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2011-11-07, version 1.0*

Working great for me. I am happily streaming media direct from a DLNA enabled NAS drive to my iPhone. Awesome. Not sure what some of the negative reviews were about.

### 5/5 — Awesome!!!

*2011-10-16, version 1.0*

This App is awesome…It plays my media files from my My Book World Server….Awesome!!!

Interface is ancient but the App works and is free for now…Five star in my book.

### 5/5 — Works with iomega

*2011-07-26, version 1.0*

This works great with my iomega nas

### 5/5 — Amazing app streams media from nas to network tv

*2011-07-03, version 1.0*

Been looking for an app that does this. Can't believe its free! Result

### 5/5 — Love it

Does what it says and works very well with my media server. Have yet to find anything else that compares with free function.
