Using it for a couple of years now!! ### 2/5 — Not a fan *2025-09-14, version 18.9* I gave this one three days. Constantly resetting, I had to restart my tablet repeatedly to get it to work at all. It doesn’t show you the distance to your way points, just overall distance to destination. I found the overall layout to be slower to reference and have Less detail. Several voice directions were wrong or missing important information. Information on stops was scant and hard to find. Overall a less intuitive platform with cheap, imprecise graphics and poor reliability. Overall this app can use some improvements. ### 4/5 — Need it. *2025-04-29, version 18.6* I tow boats travel, trailers, and drive a motorhome. Plus my main truck is a Dually.. I live in New England and travel to and thru NY state a lot where it’s really important for me to know where I can go and where I can’t especially low bridges. This app app really helps me do that. Also points of interest like truck stops. Rest areas is extremely helpful for timing stops and figuring where I can get fuel that I can fit into. The only thing it does not do that I really wish it would it interact with my CarPlay and screen on my 2024 ram. that would be so helpful. It works a little bit. It’s just that the whole screen doesn’t fit so you can’t see what’s upcoming. I have to look at my phone for that. Otherwise, it’s been very reliable for me. I drive from Maine to Louisiana several times a year and from Maine to Key West several times a year. It was not like that yesterday night. Usually when using any GPS app( google,waze or the iphone gps app) my iphone 13 pro max always stay on. After seeing that , I tried with waze and everything was ok, I tried with google map everything was fine but when the smart truck route app opens after 30 seconds the phone is lock. It has to be a problem from your app ### 4/5 — Recent update *2023-09-23, version 15.1* I updated this app recently and since doing so, while using the app it will disappear from my screen when before the update it stayed on my screen consistently without fading into the background. Is there something I can do to change it back? ### 1/5 — HAZMAT Routing Issue *2023-08-22, version 14.22* I purchased this app to keep me avoiding all tunnels because all I pull are HAZMAT loads. I had the app route me from Rocky Point NC to Spencer WV. It literally routed me on I-77 in Virginia which has two tunnels! I have me class into to the app as well as cut on the avoid tunnel designation. I’m not sure why it would route me through tunnels??? ### 4/5 — Good App in New England *2023-08-10, version 14.21* Delivering in New England this has been a very good app and I just renewed. I was under the impression that I’d be able to see frost laws and which roads had weight restrictions and or speed restrictions. But it doesn’t. I even contacted support and still never got any help on it. They told me I had to long press on an area to see restrictions. Every area I pressed on that I know for sure had both speed and weight restrictions would show nothing. When it finally stops and reverts back to main screen the menu buttons do not work, and when they do they all register pushes at one time and the screen will flash multiple options. I really wanted to use this app my driver trainer uses it on android and it was quite honestly flawless. Did not adjust the speed limit from car to truck- 70 mph , truck speed 60 mph, stayed at 70mph next 23 miles 2. Trucks restricted to two tight lanes- as always - kept telling me to stay left in two left lanes for next 23 miles 3. They’re in a bag underneath my bunk. This app does everything I need it to whenever I need it done. It has NEVER put me in a bad situation, ever! Sometimes I do have to make a personal decision to ride up another street or few miles to a better turn/situation simply because of what I’m hauling, not necessarily a fault in the app. Everything is not always on a flaw in gps system, if it told you to drive off of a cliff would you? For someone that does a lot of over dimensional & 60ft+ loads that’s saying a lot, to me at least. All in all it’s an amazing app, would recommend it to anyone.
