The components and cameras are set up with only a few clicks using the Smartvest App. Live access via app any time and any place Using the Plug & Play internet access you can access your wireless alarm system without additional setup at the router. The Smartvest App offers state overview of all components, activating and deactivating of the wireless alarm system and access to live video data. Setup of individual scenarios The Smartvest App makes it possible to create individual scenarios. These can increase comfort or security, depending on the users’ requirement, by e.g. activating wireless power sockets triggered by motion detection for automatic illumination or starting the video recording on opening magnet contacts to detect intrusion. Creating individual groups In the control menu up to 9 individual groups can be created. These enable the operation of all used actors, e.g. wireless power sockets, with one click. Furthermore, it can be defined, which sensors trigger an alarm when activated and which actors should react. The setup of a partial activation is also possible. Reliable event notification with video images of up to 4 cameras The message function instantly notifies the user about every event. Zudem muss man für Kameras eine extra App nutzen, wie auch für die „Z-Wave“ Produkte, um Rauchmelder einzulernen. Leider gibt die App auch keine „kritischen“ Alarme von sich, so durchbricht sie nicht den Stumm Modus und man bekommt lediglich eine kleine Pushnachricht bei Einbruch. Ich bin leider zu tiefst enttäuscht und werde alle Komponenten wieder verkaufen müssen. ### 3/5 — Gute App außer Alarmierung *2025-04-13, version 1.7.31* Ich bin im großen und Ganzen sehr zufrieden mit der App, allerdings scheitert es an mit der wichtigsten Funktion und zwar die Alarmierung. Leider besteht aktuell nicht die Möglichkeit das ein Einbruchsalarm den Lautlosmodus des Handy umgeht. Wenn das eingeführt wird und zusätzlich man selbst noch den Alarmton auswählen kann bin ich Wunschlos glücklich. ### 5/5 — Update Fehler?? *2025-04-01, version 1.7.30* Die App lässt sich auf dem IPad aktuell nicht starten bzw. geht sofort wieder zu. Gibt es einen Fehler mit dem Update? Bisher hat die App tadellos funktioniert! ### 3/5 — Bitte unbedingt „kritische Hinweise“ ermöglichen *2025-03-09, version 1.7.29* Die Apple API macht es möglich, dass Apps kritische Hinweise senden können, das bedeutet, dass auch wenn das Handy im Stummmodus sich befindet ein kritischer Hinweis mit Warntönen angezeigt wird. Das wird zum Beispiel von Katastrophenwarnapps verwendet. Das ist bei einer Sicherheitsrelevanten App unglaublich wichtig, da man ja keine Einbruchsmeldung verpassen will nur weil das Handy gerade im Stummmodus ist. Bitte unbedingt die Funktion nachrüsten! ### 5/5 — Außen Sirene anbringen. Ist der Horror *2024-07-24, version 1.7.29* Für das Anbringen der Außen Sirene hat irgendjemand am Schreibtisch das Ding so konstruiert, dass, wenn die Wand nicht perfekt gerade ist, man ungefähr in 8 m Höhe steht und eine circa 2 mm große Gewindeschraube nicht anbringen kann weil man die Sirene nicht in die Ankerplatte einrasten kann. Dann löst dann die Alarmanlage alle 10 Sekunden auf dem Handy aus. Autsch. ### 3/5 — Zuverlässigkeit/Stabilität eingeschränkt *2024-02-01, version 1.7.29* Die Zuverlässigkeit der Sensoren ist nicht hoch, regelmäßig kommt es zum Signalverlust einzelner Sensoren, auch direkt nach dem Batteriewechsel. Die Freischaltung der Anlage über das Bedienteil klappt manchmal erst nach der dritten Eingabe des Codes. Die einzige Verbindung zur App läuft über das instabile Netz von Vodafone (Kabel, alles USV-gesichert). Nun bin ich unsicher, ob die “Profianlagen” wirklich stabiler sind. ### 3/5 — Recht einfach zu bedienen *2024-01-11, version 1.7.29* Ich finde die Funktionen der intuitiv und gut. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist das Farbschema, denn je nach Lichtverhältnissen ist graue Schrift auf grauem Hintergrund nicht einfach zu erkennen. Ein Punkt ist allerdings nicht mehr zeitgemäß, warum kann man die Namen der Räume nicht komplett selbst bestimmen? Im Jahr 2024 sollte das m.E. Standard sein! Ich habe die Hoffnung, dass sich hier in einer neuen Version noch etwas tut 😉 ### 4/5 — Widget *2023-11-23, version 1.7.29* schade dass es kein Widget gibt um schnell bei einem Alarm eingreifen zu können. Das wäre anwenderfreundlich. ### 3/5 — Firmware-Update wird nicht installiert *2023-11-21, version 1.7.29* Mit dem Update wird eine neue Firmware angeboten. Führt man das Update durch, läuft der Fortschrittsbalken bis zum Ende durch. Danach blinkt super kurz eine Meldung auf, die man leider nicht lesen kann. Nach erneutem Anmelden wird man wieder auf ein Firmware-Update hingewiesen. Selbst wiederholte Update-Versuche auf zwei weiteren Endgeräten blieben erfolglos. Die Firmware-Version bleibt bei 510. Bitte beheben. ### 2/5 — Viele Funktionen (noch) nicht einsetzbar *2023-06-03, version 1.7.24* Die Software läuft nicht sehr stabil: Ich habe neben verschiedenen ABUS-Überwachungskameras jetzt auch 2 Akku-CAMs + Basisstation versucht zu installieren: Ein Firmware-Update der Basisstation wird zwar angezeigt und (vermeintlich) durchgeführt, allerdings bleibt es danach beim alter Firmwarestand. Der Betriebsmodus der Akku-CAM lässt sich zwar auf Solar einstellen, wird aber nicht abgespeichert… (ich habe mir extra das Solar-Modul gekauft) Es gibt zwar eine Unterstützung für die Installation der Akku-CAM, allerdings musste ich erst nach vielen Fehlversuchen in der nur online (!) verfügbaren Anleitung nachlesen, wie man eine Kamera mit der Basisstation pairen kann. Kein Verweis dazu in der App, auch nicht, wie man eine zweite Kamera an die Basisstation anschließt. Die Aufnahmen in der Nacht sind extrem verrauscht und nicht zu gebrauchen. Das liegt zwar nicht an der App, aber andere als die Akku-Cam liefern deutlich bessere Bilder… Viel Bewertungs-Abzug, da für die verschiedenen Kameras wohl unterschiedliche Entwickler im Einsatz waren und die angebotenen Funktionalitäten nur teilweise funktionieren … Bitte nachbessern! ## Frequently asked questions about Smartvest ### How do I set up Smartvest?
