## What is SmartView Device Interface?

The SmartView app is used for controlling the Senticon's Intelligent Room Controllers and Smart Room Sensors. With the SmartView app you can change your room settingsand monitor the room measurements. For example with the TCR/QCR controllers you can change the (heating/cooling) setpoint, operating mode (occupied/unoccupied/night), fan speed and analyse the current demand.

The SmartView app connects to the device using Bluetooth connection of you iPhone/iPad. Once connected to the device, and if first time, the SmartView interrogates the device and automatically builds the view required to control your room. Once the configuration has been created, next time upon connection you can immediately start to change the settings.

### V1.08 — 2026-05-23

V1.08 has additional debugging that if the device/controller does not have register that being read during the display setup, then after 5 tries to read it is ignored. Also the device view is not accessible until the display configuration has been fully loaded.

### 1.07 — 2025-12-01

V1.07 supports the F1.76 version of the xCR10n series controllers and their new features such as extension timer and average temperature displays.

### 1.05 — 2024-10-09

Version 1.05 adds PMR2 Particulate Matter Sensor Support, fifth display location support for xER, xVR, XCR1 and PMR devices.
For xCR1 controllers, display options Main Loop SPA, Aux Loop SPA added (shows standard setpoint)
For xCR1, xER1, PMR2, support for Alarm Skin option added - the SmartView shows the alarm bar.

### 1.04 — 2024-07-02

Version V1.04 has improvements on display handling with TVR20 and QVR20 controllers.

### 1.03 — 2024-06-24

Version 1.03 has improved support for the TCR80 series controllers.
