SMAWL is a handy tool that helps you manage and optimize your RAW photos on your device. RAW photos have large file sizes, especially with devices like the iPhone 14 Pro capable of capturing high-resolution 48-megapixel images. While RAW photos can be helpful when shooting and editing, you may not always want or need the original files once you’re done. These files can take up a significant amount of storage space on your device and in the cloud. Apple's Photos app doesn't convert your RAW photos to smaller formats… that's why we wrote SMAWL! Using SMAWL, you can browse your RAW photo album, compress photos using JPEG or HEIC, and delete the original RAW images to free up storage space. Apple le permet mais sous macOS (via Photos en mode Export). Mais peut-être manque-t-il une correction pour iOS 18.x, cela a fonctionné pour quelques clichés (transformation et suppression) avant de coincer. De fait l’opération de réalise parfois sans être retournée sur iOS. En résumé, on ne sait pas si l’opération a eu lieu et l’image RAW apparaît toujours dans l’album alors qu’elle a été réalisée dans le Cloud. Ensuite, le rêve serait de choisir le profil chromatique associé à l’image transformée. Bref, une app qui mériterait 5 étoiles si elle pouvait fonctionner sous iOS 18.5 en allant au bout de son processus (okay, je lui demande d’agir sur de grosses images, des RAW :-) et si, dans une prochaine version, elle permettait de choisir son espace chromatique (sRGB, adobe ou P3). Pour l’heure, comme elle est inutilisable, que le support ne répond pas, je préfère arrêter les frais ici. ### 1/5 — Crashes when choosing a photo *2024-09-29* App crashes on iPhone 16 pro max IOS 18 when opening a single photo.
