SMC sent me my User ID/Client ID but no password. When I used the “Forgot Password” option, I never received the OTP despite trying for over five hours. I have used other brokerage apps like Angel One, where the account setup and login process worked smoothly without these kinds of issues. I opened this account only because my friend, who works at PNB, recommended and insisted that I do so. Unfortunately, my very first experience with SMC has been frustrating. A new customer should not have to struggle just to log in to a newly opened account. I hope SMC improves its onboarding process and resolves such issues promptly. ### 1/5 — Not able to reset password *2025-08-04, version 1.9.1* There is some serious issue in resetting your password. Every time I try to reset password it shows “password reset unsuccessful “ no matter how many times I tried with multiple different passwords. App closed while i was in trade can’t able to close my trade. 2. Most of time my holding shows zero in there app. 3. While you try to login it shows try after some time.
