Some rewards are actually a hassle and will take for than 2 months waiting period with too many steps to do, it’s not straight forward and user friendly. I gave them a 5 Star product review last 2 months with the hope of getting a discounts before the renewal but until now I haven’t had that discounts rewards yet and it just renews automatically with the full price…..very cheeky! Just be aware. Dentist also have different price list if you’re a smile member. I thought it would be cheaper to use both my private insurance plus this membership but actually it’s not. So I’ve always asked my dentist which is the cheaper option, both (smile + private insurance), smile alone or private insurance alone. Most of them are honest enough to gave me the breakdown of every cost and 99% of the time using my private insurance alone is more cheaper than using both or using smile membership…making it really a useless cost. It would have been perfect if the accredited dentist won’t jack up their prices so we can avail a double dip discounts but unfortunately it’s not like that as what I believed initially. Just confirmed it with you dentist. (There are heaps of Smile preferred dentists where I live so excellent availability too.) The difference is unlike private health you can reduce your annual already cheap membership by referring a friend, adding a 2nd payment method to your smile account & many other ways. So unlike private health your premium gets cheaper rather than increasing every year! Absolutely worth every penny. 10/10!
