I used it for a 'Store Pickup' order thinking it would be convenient. However, the app charged me 131.5 AED for an item that costs only 98 AED at the shop. When I contacted Smiles support, they told me the price is higher because I 'earn points.' The math is terrible: I paid 33.5 AED extra to earn points worth roughly 1 AED. This feels like a hidden tax on users. The app should match store prices for pickup orders, or at least be transparent about the massive markups.
