### 5/5 — Perfect!

Well done - no more little bits of paper...

### 5/5 — My daughter is reading!

*2011-09-22*

We are homeschoolers and my daughter struggles to read. This app has proven to be the single best resources for her. She has mastered 9 lists in less than a week. We love this app!!

### 4/5 — One of the best Sight Word Apps out there

*2011-03-13*

One of the most customizable Sight Word apps available. Can finally create a list to match what is being taught in class during that week. Over 1,500 words included ... no need to buy add on packages. Able to setup 5 accounts with different levels of difficulty (using with two girls K and 2nd). Would get 5 stars if you could type additional words into the database and add sounds and images.

### 5/5 — Makes learning fun!

*2011-03-09, version 1.4.1*

Love this app. My kindergartener is loving all the different lists. Her confidence with her reading is through the roof! I wish this was around when my other children were learning their sight words!

### 5/5 — Smiley sight words

Thank you for another great program... I have purchased 3 of your programs and love them all... Looking forward to more great apps from you!!
Any thoughts on an app like this for building sentences???
Cheers!!!

### 5/5 — Smiling

*2010-12-06*

This app is fantastic! Utilizing the flexibility of the customized lists & the ability to choose specific words from the pre set lists; this app can be tweaked to present words from a phonetic focus -instead of sight memorization. Today we did words with the "e" sound and my daughter enjoyed sounding out the unfamiliar words, then self checked her answer by touching the word & listening to it voiced back. She gave herself the smiley face with joy! 1500+ words to choose from, and I didn't have to type any of them.

### 5/5 — Great app and great support

*2010-10-27*

I have been using this app to work with my first grader and kindergartner and they both really enjoy it. As a parent I find it very helpful in getting them prepare for spelling and vocabulary tests using the customize feature. I am unaware of any other word application with this many features and would recommend it to anyone who has little ones in school.

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2010-10-21*

As a mum and a teacher, this app ticks all the boxes. My kids enjoy playing with this and love that they can listen to the words which means they're not relying on someone else to check they've read it correctly. I really like that it's configurable to include your own word lists and that there are SO MANY words!
Don't bother with any others, this one's got it all.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2010-09-09*

This was perfect for my 2nd grade class. Thanks so much.

### 4/5 — Very good

*2010-08-13*

Was glad to find this APP. We needed the ability to have more than one user. Good interface that the kids are enjoying. The reward ribbon helps keep them motivated. Have found a few bug issues and the program has crashed a few times, also would be nice to have it listed in the iPad software. The teach me kindergarten from this developer is much better than any program I have found for my kids, with some minor fixes this has the potential to be a Great program. If/when it is updated/fixed I would give 5 stars. I would love the app had a reward set up like the teach me kindergarten app, my kids go nuts for that one, but they are getting to old for it.

### 1/5 — What a let down!

*2011-07-12, version 1.4.1*

I thought this was going to be perfect for my kindergarten class but what am I supposed to do with 5 profiles? I can't even buy more.
This stinks

### 2/5 — Not suitable for ipad

*2012-02-01*

This is a great app but I downloaded for my ipad as it says that it is compatible with ipad ... by compatible they mean that everything is just zoomed to make it fit onto the bigger screen - and what happens when you zoom something - IT GOES BLURRY!! Really disappointing :-(

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2011-03-24, version 1.4.1*

Bought this to make a customized list for my son. Started to input his list from school and only 12 of the first 24 are in the system. Now I have to buy something else. May be useful when I try other lists already in there...

### 3/5 — Potential to be great!

*2012-06-23, version 2.0.1*

I would give this five stars immediately if not for the following....
1. I want to be able to choose the icon for a missed word. Some kids don't mind the sad face and others are defeated after the first time you touch the sad face and cry. I want to pick from a list of generic icons and code the missed responses myself. They accept their mistakes more readily when they don't see a huge sad face when they make a mistake.
2. Sometimes I want to go through all missed words at once without having to go to each different set to find them. I want a master list of missed words that includes all from each set for each child. If this is already possible, please point it out to me.
Fix the above and I will recommend this to everyone I know!

### 4/5 — Great app for techie kids

*2015-07-10*

Paper flash cards were okay for my daughter (6) but didn't inspire her to learn her words. We found this app we both love it. I can create custom lists based on the word lists her teacher sends home. I also liked that I could consolidate just the words she needed to learn. She likes earning "thumbs up" and "wings" after she gets it right three times in a row. It's not an app that a kid should do alone since they have the ability to mark thumbs up or down themselves but I would definitely recommend for kids who maybe don't learn as well with old-school paper things.

### 4/5 — Great App

*2014-01-29*

I've tried other sight word Apps and this is my favorite. I love that it comes equipped with Fry's word list as well as many others including the alphabet (separate uppercase/lowercase list), numbers (including spelling in separate list), family, shapes, and days of the week. I really like that I can customize my own lists. My kids learn 5 words at a time. I make my lists in the order they are being learned and include previously learned words for review. I got more than my money's worth with this app!

### 4/5 — Very convenient !

*2013-07-18*

I am a special education teacher and how amazing this app is to monitor progress in a short period of time! The only problem I have is there isn't a date stamp so I can record progress time and date. I have been taking a picture of progress screen and emailing it to gen Ed teacher but I would love it if I could record date directly from the app.

### 4/5 — Excellent app for reinforcing sight vocabulary

*2013-01-29*

I have been very impressed with this app. It takes a very simple approach to sight vocabulary with the words being presented in a flash card format. There are a range of fonts available to suit individual users.

It could be used by children themselves with the user reading the word and then checking their answer against the recording. They then click thumbs up or thumbs down. Alternatively it can be used with a parent.

When a particular test is completed the results are scored so that tricky words can be revised. The only thing that prevents me from giving this app a 5 star is that it is not easy to create lists based on the words that a child is learning. In settings it does appear to be possible to create custom lists but I found it impossible to cut and paste these into the app. Make this possible and this is the ultimate sight vocabulary app!

### 4/5 — 4 stars

*2012-09-18*

This sight word app is great, very useful. Especially I like the app because I can see the progress of my children by thumps up or down. There are only 2 things which will make me give 5 stars 1-if I can put the sight word that this does not have; 2-if I can name the custom list.

### 4/5 — Great app!

*2012-02-29*

Just found this and love it! Was able to customize lists for my twins who are in Kindergarten. Only thing I wish I could do is add words to the list that aren't in the main list. My girls have 'word families' on their sight word lists from school and words like tip, sip, dip or jog, hog, fog aren't in there. Add that and this would make a 5 star app!

### 5/5 — Just what was needed

*2021-07-07*

My 5 year old is very behind after covid. She’s been trying soo hard with me doing flash cards with her but I don’t have loads of time. This app is perfect- you can see the word, child can say the word out loud (if they don’t know it they can tap the word and it will say it out loud) if they know the word straight away then your child gives a thumbs up and if not then a thumbs down. It will keep score for you and allow you to practise the ones you don’t know more so then I know which words to help her with. This saves me soo much time as i can just help with the ones she needs help with. Absolutely brilliant- thanks soooo much!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2014-07-21*

Great, simple app that can be used anytime and anywhere to review sight words. It keeps up with your progress and automatically advances to the next level of learning.

### 5/5 — Can we have cloud sync across devices please?

*2013-12-03*

Hi I think this an excellent app and my I can really see the progress my child is making each day. I would like to see syncing with iCloud if at all possible, as I'm sure a lot of people have a couple of devices, and it is a little frustrating for someone when they find they have to "do stuff again".

### 5/5 — Great practice

*2013-05-20*

This is a great app! I love that you simply press the thumbs up or thumbs down. I hope they come up with math flash cards that you do not have to choose an answer or write an answer..just like the sight words one :).

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2013-01-19*

Especially now it comes with AU color coded words, which save me time manually enter them in.

### 5/5 — Best APP

### 5/5 — Love this app. Has made a difference!

*2012-06-22*

My son is now so much more confident!!
He has moved Head and Shoulders above his classmates .... From a previous place of struggle!

### 5/5 — Works great

*2012-06-18*

My 1st grader loved it. Saves me the time of making flash cards. Found out the teach was using the exact same program.

### 5/5 — Amazing!!

*2012-02-29*

I love this app! My sons teacher has been using it and thanks to this new update she can use it for her whole class not just those who need RTI. I just started using it with my reading kids as well and I can't say enough good things about it!!

### 5/5 — perfect

*2011-10-02*
