I understand their need to make money, but could I at least see how the app works and get it set up before you pounce on me? Yes, you can pay to do without but why not just google the info you want? You can’t just delete the account through accounts in iOS. You need to go to General > Profiles and look for the profile that says Red Alert to remove it from your phone. I live in Southern California and am in that group of "highly sensitive individuals" affected by air quality. Fascinating and useful to have data on, for example, which cities are most affected by recent forest fires. The Air Quality Index of mine is 139. No wonder I'm wheezing. Where to go? I check the cities close by. 120s-130s. Check my cousin's city, 40 miles away. AQI only 79. Better! I check the coast. AQI a mere 50! Do I hear a mini-vacation calling? Love the leaf symbols to indicate health points. Green is great, going to green with yellow edge, yellow, yellow with red edge, red. Great visual. A minor annoyance: If you put a lot of cities on your list, it takes a long time to see data on any one of them, and you're blocked from doing anything about it. I'd rather see the current one ASAP, because usually I don't care about the others. Or, I want to be able to access the list of cities so I can just delete some, to have the rest load faster (sometimes I like to look at the cities where my siblings live, just for grins--but not when I'm trying to get local data quickly). ### 5/5 — Great *2015-10-05* This app is cool if you are in to the smog report of cities. ### 1/5 — Only US and China *2015-03-19* What's the point of having it in UK AppStore if it's limited to US and China? Disappointed. ### 3/5 — Developer needs to fix *2015-01-17* This app only needs to do one or two things, literally, and it does a pretty good job of one, namely showing the EPA airnow.org current index for your location. However, it seems to have an iOS 8/iPhone 6 Plus bug, because when I try to type in a ZIP Code for a search, it does not present a keyboard! This needs fixing. Also, it's very unclear to the user how to see an explanation of what the numbers and abbreviations mean. I stumbled on this by tapping the number itself. But the graphics are quite pleasant, and free is a good price for it. Readings that are out of date are no longer shown at all, so the number on your screen reflects the air now rather than the last time a station happened to report. Fixes a bug that could show "Unable to Load Data" instead of air quality for locations where the nearest EPA monitors are not currently reporting. Where EPA monitors have a gap in coverage, Smog Report now falls back to the OpenAQ global monitor network so you still get a reading, and credits OpenAQ on the About screen when it does. These improvements apply everywhere the app shows air quality, including home screen widgets, the Apple Watch app and its complications, Siri and Shortcuts, and background alert checks.
