### 5/5 — It works!

*2017-06-18, version 1.0.2*

This product has been extremely helpful to recognize just how much I smoke and when I do. The new watch alarms are great for those times that an audible alert would be unprofessional. If you can't quit with this you probably don't want to quit!

### 5/5 — Fantastic Quit Smoking App !!!

*2017-02-22, version 1.0.2*

Smoke Revoke is an excellent tool to help you quit or cut down on smoking. It's flexibility and user interface is great -- much better than the other quit smoking apps. I definitely recommend it if only to make you aware of your habits and triggers. Nice job !!!!!

### 5/5 — Great app but on the expensive side

*2017-02-20, version 1.0.2*

I only tried the free trial for 7 days as this was all I needed. The app is brilliant but the price for the full version is expensive (although not as expensive as smoking!) and there are other apps which do the same thing for free

### 5/5 — Great app

*2017-01-17, version 1.0.2*

This app has helped me slowly stop smoking. I have tried other apps but I found this to be the best fit for me. What I love the most is the how you have time intervals between cigs and if you don't smoke a cig it will gray out. So then you can see also how many cigs you didn't smoke for the day. I highly recommend this app. It is well worth the money especially since you will save money by slowly quitting smoking. I am not affiliated with the app.

### 5/5 — free

*2016-06-26, version 1.0*

i love this app. i start to quit smoking. 😍

### 5/5 — THANK YOU!!!!

*2016-03-27, version 1.0*

I can't believe there is only ONE APP that does what this app does!!! Having the interval between smokes helps SO MUCH! It was spot on the first day... Every time my body would crave a cigarette, I would look at the timer and BAMN! Time for another. By the second day I could feel my body was having a hard time with the "control" on waiting to have another smoke. But, I just have to watch the timer. And I think.... Okay.... I can do something for another 20-30 minutes until it's time. It's like a game.

It would be almost impossible to do this on my own without going crazy. Thanks again for this awesome app!

### 5/5 — My Dr Loves it

*2016-03-05, version 1.0*

My primary care physician encourages 100's of patients every year to stop smoking. She was very impressed by this app and its results. I would like to say "way too go!!!" to the inventors and thanks for helping so many finally accomplish their goals. Quitting smoking is one of the hardest habits to break..until now 🤓

### 4/5 — Nearly perfect smoke timer!!

*2016-01-31, version 1.0*

Of all the smoking apps in the App Store, there was only one that performed the function I was looking for. Something to take my current smoking level from where it was to where I wanted it to be, using a gradual reduction method. Unfortunately that app stopped working and and I couldn't find another app to replace that one until this one came along. This one is much much better. Clean intuitive interface and doesn't overload you with tons of data and ads you don't need to see. Put in what you smoke now, when you want to quit and it takes care of the rest. It automatically adds time in between cigarettes over time. Before you know it you'll be smoking less because it weans you off it slowly. The interface lets me know at a glance everything I need to know all on one screen. How many cigs for today in total. How many I've smoked. How many I've chosen to skip and how many I have left. All color coded. I especially like the fact that if I get really antsy I can go back and smoke one of my skipped cigarettes if I really really wanted to. That alone makes me feel calmer about fighting the urge. Knowing I can if I have to but most of the time I can skip it and it tells me to date how many I've skipped that day and overall (120 cigs so far that I would've smoked but didn't). Some may scoff at the cost and yes I agree it could be a bit cheaper but at the end of the day I'm happy with it doing what it does. I didn't rate it perfect because it's still missing a few minor things but who knows maybe those will make it in an update (notifications of when my cig is ready would've been nice, and achievements that you can earn and share with others would be kinda cool, a slightly longer trial period would be better since the cost is higher). Either way I love this app. I happily paid for it after trying it. It's working for me so far.

### 5/5 — Simple and user friendly

*2016-01-10, version 1.0*

I love this because I can easily keep track of my daily habits I want to quit, whatever they may be.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Expensive

*2017-01-22, version 1.0.2*

What a shame really love the app but 11 pound is outrageous for this 😞

### 1/5 — Absolute rort

*2016-08-19, version 1.0*

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The theory is good, but this app does not provide anywhere near enough for the approx $30 AUD it costs. Absolute rort.

### 1/5 — Great idea but $18 is a joke

*2016-08-18, version 1.0*

I love that this app allows you to try and quit smoking gradually instead of the way other apps make out that you have to quit immediately. The only problem with this app is that after the first day you cannot use it again until you pay $17.99 which is ridiculous and makes this app an absolute joke. It is not worth that amount. It's just a waste of a good app.

### 2/5 — Overpriced

*2017-06-29, version 1.0.2*

I like the app, but feel it is overpriced at 12.00. What happened to the days where people just helped other people? I understand wanting to make money but at $12 dollars an app you're paying for a smart calculator. Sure it does more than that and I did enjoy it up until they wanted the money. I was expecting it to cost around $2-$5.

### 2/5 — Good app however.

*2017-05-15, version 1.0.2*

Pretty good app, however at about $12.00 when there are so many good free apps out there I feel the developers of this toy have priced them selves out of the ball game.
Nice app but to expensive for what it is.

### 3/5 — Nicely designed app way overpriced

*2016-11-01, version 1.0*

Looks and works great, simple, well designed, but one day free then $17.99???

### 3/5 — One-Day Trial

*2016-04-22, version 1.0*

This app does what it says it’ll do: keep track of your smokes, how many you’ve skipped, and keep track of the time you have before you’re allowed to smoke again.

With that being said, one of my problems is the fact that you only get to use it for ONE day for free before you have to pay $12 for it. Normally this would turn me off and I wouldn’t even download the app in the first place. But I didn’t know that you could only use it ONE day for free, so I downloaded it. I thought it was pretty good and the reviews kept saying how AMAZING it was. So I opted to pay the $12. That was my bad. You really cannot judge whether an app like this is going to work for you with just one day of use.

When it comes down to it, it isn’t worth it for me.

I smoke in the middle of the night sometimes when I have insomnia and this app makes me start the day at 1:15 AM (for example) if I get up and can’t go back to sleep. But because my day actually starts at 7:30am, when I smoke in the middle of the night, the app says I can’t have another one until 8:15am because I just had my 7:30 one… even though it’s 1:15 in the morning. Then it marks a certain percentage off of your success rate because you’re not smoking when it tells you you’re allowed. And it seems like it doesn’t take into account for your success rate that you may have actually smoked LESS than the day before, only that you weren’t smoking when you were allowed.

All in all, it’s an okay app. It just doesn’t fit with my habits and how I think a gradual system should work.

### 4/5 — Iwatch

*2025-07-30, version 1.0.2*

Should have been compatible with iwatch

### 4/5 — I think the developers forgot about the app!

*2023-11-11, version 1.0.2*

This app hasn’t been updated in 6 years. It’s a great app but needs updating. Needs a place to put notes on how your day went, etc. I had to reset everything because there was a glitch. I just paid the $10 and am on day 8. I will be FURIOUS if I have to reset everything later on!

### 4/5 — Going through the motion

*2017-02-23, version 1.0.2*

Just begging. Window how and if it takes int account the time during the day at work when I can't smoke during the. When be done to adjust for this? Does it lead and adjust

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Apple watch

*2026-07-26, version 1.0.2*

Apple watch integration and live timer on lock screen or in complications of apple watch would have been great

### 5/5 — Smoking cost$$$$

*2024-11-06*

This app I find to be really helpful for me because I can set the time and see the cost of the money that I’m spending on smoking and the best part is it’s FREE!!!
Sincerely,
Lisa💜💜

### 5/5 — Just what i was looking for!

*2024-05-29, version 1.0.2*

Excellent app just what i was looking for. Im a big proponent of weening or tapering off of addictive substances. Same willpower as cold turkey but much less pain from withdrawal. This app helps me do that perfectly. 5 stars

### 5/5 — Helping

*2024-05-10, version 1.0.2*

It’s helping me so far. I like how there is a count down

### 5/5 — Makes quitting easier.

*2023-09-13, version 1.0.2*

This app gradually reduces the number of cigarettes smoked daily based on the quit date you set. The date can be changed if you want more time. It shows the amount of money saved which is encouraging. I noticed my cough getting better after a few days. It’s kind of challenging to keep up with the allowed amount and sometimes I smoke less than recommended and feel like I got a big win! I highly recommend.

### 5/5 — So far so good.

*2021-11-16, version 1.0.2*

This is the best app I ever used. It is very ADHD friendly.

### 5/5 — It Works!

*2021-02-06*

I couldn’t have quit as easily without this app.

On most days I smoked fewer than my allotment smokes and would then advance the program. This allowed me to quit 3 weeks ahead of schedule.

By using a time based method to quit, it helps break associations between smoking and activities. It also helped teach me to manage cravings.

Mostly, I want to say thank you for building this app. There is nothing else like it online.

While it is excellent and worked as advertised, I would have appreciated some additional functionality such as:
1) the ability to roll back a day or two without resetting the app back to zero or the ability to add an extra cigarette if necessary.
2) Inclusion of a history section to see how much I smoked on any given day, when I smoked and what the allotment was.
3) While I liked the graphic and found it useful, it lacked the ability to go back and check when a specific cigarette was smoked. I would have found this useful as I struggled in the mornings.

UPDATE: Henry, thanks for the response you provided. Yes, you have my permission to quote my review on the SmokeRevoke website. Keep up the good work, hopefully your app helps someone else too. Thanks again.

**Developer response:** That is amazing to hear, Brian - wow. Thanks so much for using the app, congrats, and the suggestions are hugely appreciated as well! I agree on those points and will try to get those features in for others going forward.

Do you mind if we quote your review as a testimonial for our website?

Congrats again, that's great you were able to quit. Thanks,

- Henry

### 5/5 — Almost a perfect 5

*2021-01-02, version 1.0.2*

This app is very simple to use and track your daily progress. Setting up my regular smoking habit and quit date was simple. The ability to editing my target quit date is a great feature. I love the layout. I can see how many I smoked and skipped and how many remaining. I like that if I stay awake longer I can easily adjust the end time and the app readjusts or add extra smokes for the day. The visible timer to see your next smoke really helps me hold out for those extra mins. I like that I can select future snakes and see at what time they occur. The ability to edit if you skipped a smoke or smoked it after the current time is great. The only thing that I do not like about the app is that on past smokes for the day it does not indicate what time it was for. If I saw the time it would help me determine if I skipped it or simply forgot to mark it. All and all it seems like a great tool. I’ll update when I’m smoke free.

### 5/5 — Great job

*2020-10-15, version 1.0.2*

So far, I really like this app. I tend to chain-smoke without even knowing it. About 25 to 30 a day. The only thing I would like to see added is the option to hit enter on my Apple Watch to restart the timer. That way I don’t have to constantly use my phone. I have no problem paying the 10 bucks after the trial. I will save that by not smoking as much.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2018-01-13, version 1.0.2*

Simple setup...simple to use. It’s the best one I’ve tried!
