## What is Snack App?

Snack App nudges you to move - then helps you build a lasting habit.

An "exercise snack" is a short bout of movement: a set of push-ups, a quick walk, a minute of stretching. Done a few times a day, they add up. Snack App is the gentle nudge that makes them happen - and helps you build the habit, one snack at a time.

• Reminders that fit your day. Pick an interval and active hours - Snack App prompts you to take a movement break, and stays quiet outside your window.
• Log it in a tap. Choose from a built-in exercise library (or add your own), and capture reps, weight, distance, duration, and more.
• Goals & streaks. Hit your daily snack goal, build a streak, and keep the momentum going - with a little confetti when you do.
• Apple Health. Pull in your workouts automatically.

Private by design. No account, no ads, no tracking, never sold. Your data lives on your device - back it up to your own cloud whenever you like.

Small movements, all day, add up to real change.

### 5/5 — I really like the concept of this app

*2026-08-13*

It’s a good reminder that a little goes a long way. I also like the custom aspect; it’s just as easy to log one squat as compared to fifty.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much, I couldn't have put it better myself - a little does go a long way. I'm happy that you found logging easy to use. That was one of my main goals when building the app.

If you ever have a suggestion to make the app work better for you, please feel free to email me at: help@getsnack.app

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.3 — 2026-09-04

Performance improvements: In previous versions, logging would slow down as your snack history grew. Now, logging should remain quick, whether you have a few days of history, weeks, months, or even years.

A more compact snack form: The optional "Notes" field is now hidden by default, so that all form fields appear on screen. You can show the field with a tap, and any entered notes are shown for existing snacks.

### 2.0.2 — 2026-09-01

Exercise goals don't have to be every day anymore:
- Pick how many days a week a goal is for - like running 3 days per week. The ring fills as your week does, and turns gold when you hit your target.
- Weeks run Monday to Sunday, and a goal's history now groups by week so you can see how each one went.

Clearer goals and streaks:
- Goal cards now say what they mean - "12 of 30 push-ups today" - and each goal's page states the goal plainly.
- Rest days are visible now: a card appears when your streak uses one, and a new Grace period setting in Settings lets you choose how many days off your streak absorbs. No need to pause it manually.
- Your recent average now appears next to the daily goal setting, with one tap to use it as your goal.

Also:
- New exercises: Housework, Yardwork, Gardening, and Single-Leg Romanian Deadlift. Movement in daily life counts.
- Your watch complication now updates when you log on your iPhone, without opening the watch app.
- A "Back to top" button on long History and Bests lists.
- Fixed menu actions occasionally not firing after closing a snack's menu.
- Fixed a keyboard toolbar that could be left floating over the screen.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-08-25

Your reminder schedule now works with your streak, not against it:
- Days you take off (like weekends) no longer break your streak. A day without reminders counts as rest, not a miss.
- New users start with weekday reminders. You can add weekends back anytime in Settings.

On your Apple Watch:
- New watch-face complication: your progress ring, right on the face. Add it from the complication picker.
- Hitting your daily goal from the wrist now celebrates the moment - confetti and a double haptic on the watch.
- Logging from the watch shows a quick confirmation.
- Fixed the watch showing a stale snack count after logging away from your iPhone.
- Fixed the complication staying at zero while the watch app showed the right count.

Also:
- If your trial ends, the paywall now offers "Export your data" right there - your history is always yours, in both formats.
- Fixed a "Streak not found" screen that could appear when returning to the app.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-08-20

Snack App is now on your wrist.

The new Apple Watch app puts the whole loop on your watch:
- See your progress ring and both streak flames at a glance.
- Quick-add a snack with one tap. It syncs to your iPhone automatically.
- Adjust your daily goal, or pause and resume exercise goals.
- Reminders now fire on the watch itself, so a nudge still reaches you when your iPhone is off, charging, or in another room. Snooze, repeat your last snack, or take today off right from the notification.

Also in this update:
- Streak flames now show three states: muted before a streak, green while one is alive but not yet extended today, gold once today's snack lands.
- Repeat pills on the Add Snack screen say exactly what they'll log.
- A reminder that fails to schedule no longer stops the rest of the day's plan.
- Fixed the weekly backup nudge re-appearing sooner than it should.

### 1.6.4 — 2026-08-15

Clearer streak labels.

- The two streak cards on Today now say what they count, above the number: "At least 1 snack for: 6 days" and "Achieved your goal for: 5 days".
- Previously the label sat under the count and read as a claim about today - a Goal streak card could say "Goal achieved" while also telling you to log one more.
- The Activity card now says "No snacks yet" before your first snack, instead of leaving the line blank.
