## What is Snag?

See something built wrong? Snag it.

Snag is the anonymous, crowdsourced way to report what's broken in your neighborhood — potholes, flooded corners, missing signs, cracked sidewalks, broken streetlights, unsafe crossings. Open the app, drop a pin exactly where the problem is, and it's on a shared community map for your neighbors to see. No account. No login. No tracking.

Think of it as crowdsourced civil engineering. Every report you add fills in a clearer picture of what your area actually needs — and the clearer that picture gets, the harder it is to ignore.

Snag is an independent community app. It isn't affiliated with any city or government, and reports appear on a public map rather than being filed with a 311 system.

Why Snag

– Anonymous, always. We keep the location of the problem, never anything about you. No sign-up, no email, no profile.

– Report in seconds. Pick a category, describe it or just dictate it, add a photo, and place the pin on a satellite map so it's exactly right.

– See your whole area. A live map of what people have flagged nearby — you're never reporting into the void.

– Just ask Siri. "Hey Siri, report a snag." Report hands-free, without even opening the app.

– Public issues, too. Snag also pulls in nearby public 311 reports from open-data sources, each labeled with where it came from, so you see the full picture in one place.

– Open by design. Reports are structured and location-accurate, and Snag publishes them as an open feed any city is free to use — while Snag itself stays independent and unaffiliated.

Better streets start with a snag. Help your community see what needs fixing, one report at a time.
