ID’d a bull snake as a snake skin. Just renewed today, have cancelled my subscription. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all *2026-07-06* Bought a subscription to this app. It thought several photos of a bull snake here in Wyoming was a an Easter cottonmouth. If you'd prefer not to subscribe, you can always use our free version, which offers a limited number of scans. ### 1/5 — Garbage app! *2025-07-04* This app is garbage, I am trying to identify a type of iguanid and its telling me its a basalisk or a bearded dragon. So cheap! I canceled my subscription but they still kept my money. We’ve identified and resolved a bug that caused paying subscribers to experience limitations meant for free users. ### 1/5 — Lying app *2024-09-12* My first photo, a suspected rat snake, was identified as a juvenile cottonmouth. It did not have the pattern or color and the picture was taken from above, giving a distinct view of the shape of the head. There were no distinctive features of a pit viper present in the photo. Not impressed. Only reinforces the idiotic idea that every snake is a venomous snake. DELETING APP!!! **Developer response:** Hi there! I agree this is not acceptable and defeats the purpose of the app. I’m working on improving the model and make it more reliable. Thanks for your feedback! ### 1/5 — Not Good! *2024-08-02* Not accurate! To check the accuracy of the app I used it to “identify” four known species. It wrongly identified 2-of-4 species. A Glossy Snake was wrongly identified as a Western Hognosed Snake and a Speckled Rattlesnake was wrongly identified as a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake. But I wish we had more fun facts about the snakes anyways awesome app. ### 5/5 — Amazingly horrible app *2025-12-01* This app makes you pay and when you delete the app it still makes you pay and there is no option to cancel and incorrect identification!!! **Developer response:** Hi there! just to clarify, subscriptions are managed directly through your Apple ID, not inside the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription automatically.
