Detection, tuned A lot of work under the hood on the detection algorithms: thin tails, self-crossings and a ruler in frame throw it off less often, and background patterns are less likely to be read as a reference card. For the toughest shots — a tightly coiled snake, a busy substrate — Premium adds cloud detection, which handles them best. Units that match your region On a new install, lengths start in inches in the US and UK and in centimetres elsewhere. You can change this at any time in Settings. Cards worth sharing The measurement and analytics cards were reworked: the photo leads, the measuring line no longer hides the animal, growth now says over which dates it happened, and dates are written out in your language instead of a numeric format that reads differently from country to country. Chart exports keep units on every figure and a clearer time axis.
