## What is Snap & Swipe?

Your camera roll is full. Snap & Swipe is the photo cleaner that finds what you don't need: exact duplicates, similar shots, bursts, forgotten screenshots and the videos eating your storage. Clean up your entire library, fully on your device.

Swipe right to keep. Swipe left to delete. That's the whole app.

FIND EVERY DUPLICATE
Snap & Swipe finds exact copies and visually similar photos: the five takes of the same sunset, the re-saved WhatsApp version, the screenshot you took twice. It scans your whole library, not just a sample, and tells you honestly what it could check and what it couldn't. No inflated numbers. After the first scan, rescans take seconds: only new photos are checked.

SWIPE YOUR WAY
Newest first, oldest first, or shuffle through your library and rediscover photos you forgot you had. Your progress is saved, every decision can be undone, and nothing is deleted until you confirm.

100% ON-DEVICE
Your photos never leave your iPhone. Every scan, every comparison, every decision happens locally. No cloud. No servers. No accounts. No analytics. We can't see what you're doing, and we like it that way.

SAFETY FIRST
Marked photos aren't deleted instantly. Review your selection in a grid before confirming. Deleted photos move to your iOS “Recently Deleted” album, giving you a 30-day safety net.

FAIR PRICING
Free every day, forever: swipe 50 photos and clean up 10 duplicate groups. For unlimited cleaning there are weekly, monthly, and yearly plans, or pay once and keep it for life. No trials that quietly turn into charges. No dark patterns.

ALSO ON BOARD
• Large videos sorted by size, plus video duplicates
• Storage stats and monthly rings: see which months you've already gone through
• Burst and screenshot handling
• Built for large libraries: smooth swiping even with 50,000+ photos
• Fully localized in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian

MADE IN GERMANY
Built by an independent developer in Saarbrücken. GDPR-compliant by design, because there is simply no data to collect.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.3 — 2026-11-02

While you swipe, the top bar now clearly shows how much space you've freed today. Plus a few bug fixes and polish under the hood to keep cleaning up your library smooth.

### 1.4.2 — 2026-10-28

The duplicate scan keeps going when you close its screen and picks up where it stopped after a pause. Swiping stays smooth while a scan runs. "Rescan Duplicates From Scratch" is much faster. New: clear cards when photo access is missing, and two short tips on sorting and on the kinds of duplicates.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-10-27

• New: "Looks identical" finds duplicate photos even when they're saved as separate files
• A new scan now starts instantly, no more freezing
• More stable with very large libraries
• Bursts now show exactly how much space you'll free
• Free every day: swipe 50 photos and clean up 10 groups

### 1.4 — 2026-10-25

Snap & Swipe 1.4 is here, completely redesigned.
• New design: bright, clear and easy to use
• Smoother swiping
• New home screen: see right away how much space you can free up
• Review duplicates, similar photos and bursts separately
• Check first, then delete: see exactly what will be removed
• Stats with monthly rings
• New app icon, including dark and tinted

### 1.3 — 2026-10-19

Rescans now take seconds instead of minutes: Snap & Swipe remembers what it has already checked and only looks at new photos. Burst photos are back in the duplicate scan with the best shot picked for you. Plus larger tap targets and full support for Reduce Motion.
