## What is SnapCard?

You just played 3 rounds with your crew. Now someone's got a napkin, a calculator, and an argument about who won the Nassau back 9.

  SnapCard kills that moment forever.

Snap a photo of any paper scorecard — SnapCard reads every score instantly. No squinting. No manual entry. No "wait, was that a 6 or an 8?"

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2026-06-23*

Cannot get it to scan a card or select from photos.

### 5/5 — Golf simplified

*2026-02-12*

I originally downloaded Snap Card just to see what the hype was about, but it honestly exceeded my expectations. The accuracy is impressive, and the amount of time it saves before and after rounds with the boys is unreal. I’m already building my Birdie Bank Index without even thinking about it, which adds a fun competitive layer without any extra effort.

The biggest win for me is how simple everything feels. I can just enjoy the round, write scores on the card like we always have, snap a quick picture, and the app handles the rest. No typing, no double-checking math, no fixing mistakes. It works exactly the way we plan our rounds, which makes the whole experience feel effortless.

I was also genuinely impressed with the membership lounge features. Setting up matches and connecting my group as Snap Buds was incredibly easy. Everyone was synced before we even got to the course. Scores, competitions, wagers — everything is organized and transparent, which removes the usual confusion and makes the round more fun instead of slowing things down.

The end-of-round sharing is another standout. With one snap, we instantly know who’s leading and get clean results. The Birdie Bank Index keeps things interesting, and having the whole group connected makes it feel like much more than a basic scorekeeping app.

Snap Card has quickly become my go-to app for rounds with the boys. It’s easy, intuitive, and fits perfectly with how we actually play. We’re definitely sticking with this for our regular rounds and golf trips.

### 5/5 — New User

*2026-02-10*

I literally took a picture of the scorecard and Snap Card did the rest. It was that quick. I snapped the card after nine so everyone in the foursome had their scores in, and then right after walking off 18, everybody’s scores were cleanly laid out on a digital card. I had it sent to the group text before we were even back in the carts.

What I really like is that we can just focus on playing golf the way it should be played. We write scores down on the card, know who’s stroking on each hole, and with one quick picture you instantly see who played the best. The app handles everything else. No manual scoring, no crossing things out, no arguments, no chasing people down to settle scores. Zero post round headaches or drama.

For a free scoring feature, it’s a total no brainer. Snapping a pic of the card pulls everything together exactly how you want it. They’ve clearly thought things through with the advanced membership features too. Once my trial is over, Snap Card is going to be my go to app for weekly rounds with my buddies. I can already tell it’s going to be perfect for organizing our next boys trip. It fits golf right now. Fun, easy, fast, and keeps things organized and competitive. Definitely worth using.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.6 — 2026-08-21

Starting a game with your buddies is a lot faster, and the money finally adds up.

EASIER TO GET A GAME GOING
Fewer taps to start a round. Pick your players, and pairings sort themselves out for a normal foursome. You can also just snap your scorecard to start a game.

PAYOUTS THAT ACTUALLY BALANCE
Everyone antes, winners split the pot, and the totals reconcile to the cent. Single-round games with a pot no longer show $0, and the settle-up screen tells you plainly who owes whom.

INVITE LINKS OPEN THE APP
Tap a friend's invite and you land in SnapCard, not a browser page.

YOUR PHOTO SURVIVES A BAD SIGNAL
If a scan fails out on the course, we keep the picture. One tap retries it, so you never re-shoot the card.

27-HOLE COURSES READ YOUR NAMES
Snapping two nines now picks up every player's name off the card.

A SCOREBOARD THAT AGREES WITH ITSELF
It tells you exactly which nine to snap next, and names anyone still owing holes before the next round starts.

ADD PLAYERS MID-ROUND
Someone turn up on the 3rd tee? Commissioners can add them to a game already under way.

BETTER ROUND EXPORTS (PRO)
Your spreadsheet now carries net scores, score to par, and birdie, par and bogey counts.

We're always working to make SnapCard better on the course. If something isn't right, tell us — a lot of this release came straight from golfers who did.
